The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design of new residential building in Brno on the street Táborská in the city of Brno Židenice. The design comes out from filling the gap on the Táborská street and Letní street, urban regulatives and needs of people living in the local district. I designed the building so that the building is incorporated into both the street and the elevation line on surrounding buildings of apartment buildings. My effort went towards using the structural gap to its full potential. The facade of the building is designed lining titanium zinc strips of width 500 mm, which enhance the feeling of a compact mass. The facility is in addition to living is in 1st. LVL designed fitness center, which is in this area missing. The other level floor consist of flats for housing. Flats in the building are design as one-storey units and maisonnette apartment on the top floors. maisonnette. Arrangement and dispositions to all apartments is such as each flat is bright and sunlit adequately.

The Students themselves - Student Center Poříčí

Solved area is located in the centre of the Brno city, in the corner what is demarcated by the Svratka river and by Vídeňská street – the important traffic axis. The goal is to make comfortable and functional background for students, who are attending the courses in faculties of universities in Brno. Living and catering is the main functional description of this designed object. The concept of new building has thriftiness as the basic idea – thriftiness of the closest vincity and built-up area and of enviroment. Object does not aspire to be in the centre of attention, but to confirm the line of the street properly.

A Small Theatre Brno

The new building was designed to be constructed in the Brno city. The Theatre is between Benešova and Koliště streets. Area is situated in the historical centre of the city. The form was designed from two cubes which penetrated together. It looks like compact substance. In the middle of the form was designed space, where is situated central atrium which could be used for outside scene. Before the building was designed public space for meeting people. This type of public spaces wasn’t be found near. The cubes has different dimensions and colours. The smallest one was designed in white colour and another cube was designed in light grey colour. The Theatre was adapted for alternative and experimental scene.
