3D Reconstruction of Historic Landmarks from Flickr Pictures
Optoelectronic and photogrammetric measuring systems
Stančík, Petr ; Říčný, Václav (advisor)
Dissertation deals with analysis and design of optoelectronic and photogrammetric measuring systems. Specific design of optoelectronic contactless flat object area meters with analysis of attainable measurement accuracy is described. Next part is dedicated to stereophotogrammetry - principles of 3D reconstructions, methods of camera self-calibration and matching points in images are described. The analysis of attainable accuracy of monitored parameters is discussed too. Finally, the test program with implemented described routines is introduced. This test program enables practical aplication of stereophotogrammetric system for taking spatial coordinates of 3D objects.
Optimizing the calibration of the cameras of photogrammetric system designed for the measurement of rotationally symmetric forgings
Hurník, Jakub ; Navrátil, Robert (referee) ; Zatočilová, Aneta (advisor)
At present, there are only a few systems in the world, that allow measurement of the dimensional accuracy of hot forgings directly in the manufacturing process. This work deals with the development of the calibration method of the cameras for the developed photogrammetric system, intended for the mentioned purposes. The conditions of measurement are very specific - high temperature and large dimensions of measured semi-finished products, environment of heavy industry. Employed methods are chosen with the emphasis on reliability of the system, taking into account the demanding conditions in the industrial premises. Calibration is designed for a large field of view, utilizing coded reference points in a scene with known spatial coordinates. The result of the work is the calibration software created in the MATLAB environment.
Development of equipment for body posture analysis
3D data processing
Babinec, Tomáš ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
The thesis falls within the field of computer vision. It describes the development of the software environment for 3D data processing. The thesis deals with the design of C++ classes suitable for scene description and representation of bonding conditions between scenes elements. There is also discussed the solution of camera calibration, geometric distortion identification and 3D coordinates reconstruction. The solving of these tasks is augmented with planarity and linearity conditions, which support projection equations and augment the computational ability of the environment.
Hand-Held 3D Scanner
Kukučka, Marek ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to implement a method of 3D reconstruction from pairs of images taken using a device that consists of two cameras.  The method of stereo vision was chosen and the result is a sparse reconstruction of the scanned object. First, the cameras are calibrated and the acquired images are modified. In the next section, we look for corresponding key points in a pair of images. After obtaining the corresponding points, we an then perform their triangulation. For reconstruction from more then two consecutive images, we use recalculation of projection matrix. In this thesis an experiment is performed, with aim to test whether the reconstructed object corresponds in its dimensions to the real world.
