Road II/369 Moravská Třebová - průtah - Modernisation design
Eliáš, Radim ; Ropek, Jan (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to create conditions for safe and continuous transit through the local road II / 368 Moravská Třebová. The thesis deals with the new design of the broad layout of the communication, the creation of a safe transfer of cyclists, the modification of all existing crossroads and the creation of new platforms for bus stops. Additionally, existing paved surfaces in the associated space of the local road are modified.
Editor for Traffic Simulator
Malaník, Michal ; Snášelová, Petra (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create an editor of intersections with a graphical user interface for Brno traffic simulator. As an input of the editor is used file of geographic data, which is downloaded from the freely available database of server OpenStreetMap. At first are in downloaded geographic data detected intersections. The detection is performed using a detector, which was also created within this work. Editor then allows to edit the intersections to be as much as possible accurate. This process involves modeling the number of lanes, layout and types of traffic lights and also traffic detectors and many other real-world objects. The edited data are then made available in the form of an output file in XML format and are hereby provided for the traffic simulator.
Study of the Sadova area in Brno
Souček, Petr ; Radimský, Michal (referee) ; Matuszková, Radka (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the assessment of transport infrastructure in Brno, the Sadová area and presents a solving proposal for selected problems. The work is based on the site's survey and measurement, as well as data collected from all available sources. The CDV methodology on road safety inspections in accordance with EU Directive 2008/96/EC was used as a basis for processing the analysis of individual sites. A detailed risk assessment is performed at four sites in the area where problems are identified and a proposal for their solution is given. In relation to public transport, the work also evaluates the individual bus stops, identifies major drawbacks, and contains suggestions for a comprehensive solution of bus stops emplacement. The proposal also includes suitable places for the implementation of pedestrian crossings on Kociánka.

Greguš, Jakub ; Hruban, Tomáš (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor´s thesis is the elaboration of an prospective study of the Rousměrov bypass in two variants, homogenization of road section I/37 to the width category S9,5 and conecting the selected variant of the bypass to this homogenized section.
Possibilities of Point Cloud and Mesh Model Creation of Accident Site Using Photographs
Mojžyšek, Tomáš ; Bradáč, Albert (referee) ; Křižák, Michal (advisor)
The thesis focuses on creating point cloud and mesh model of chosen intersections and their applications in forensic-engineering praxis. In the first part, we describe a workflow for creating point cloud and mesh model of intersection by digital photogrammetry. In the second part, we applied these at chosen intersections. Which leads us to the comparison of three digital photogrammetric programs which we used to make point clouds and mesh models. At the end of thesis, we use our mesh models in forensic-engineering praxis and we decide about barriers in sign conditions at intersections.
Vyškov - north bypass
Greguš, Jakub ; Hruban, Tomáš (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the development of a prospective study of the northern bypass of the village of Vyškova, between roads II/431 and III/37728, with regard to the connection of all existing roads, the reconstruction of railway No. 260 Brno – Přerov and the planned development of the sports area of the village of Vyškov.
Conversion of Heršpická street to urban road
Mareček, Zdeněk ; Pavlíček,, Jan (referee) ; Všetečka, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this project is a refurbishment of the local collecting road Herspicka located in Brno, Czech republic. The goal of the project is to improve the accessibility for various transport means. The project contains design of several crossroads situated along this major road. This thesis is elaborated in a form of a technical study. The traffic flows intensity calculation was conducted on studied level crossings along the studied road.
Gridlock Simulation with Petri nets
Dofek, Ondřej ; Šeda, Miloš (referee) ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (advisor)
Traffic jams are a phenomenon that most drivers in big cities have to deal with on a daily basis. In extreme cases, they can lead to the collapse of the entire transport network, when the queue of cars waiting in front of the intersection is so long that it becomes impossible to exit from the previous intersection. This work deals with the simulation of this collapse of the transport network using Petri nets, which have been widely used in recent years for modeling transport networks and are discussed in the theoretical part of this work. The practical part was written in the Python programming language. It was the creation of a library of intersections and their subsequent connection and creation of a network with the help of the PetNetSim library. A user interface was also created to simulate the collapse of the transport network. In this model, some factors that can lead to the collapse of the transport network have been simulated.
