The aim of thesis is concerned with practical usage of financial and economical analysis of Metrostav a.s. One of the main objects was implementation of creditworthy and bankruptcy indicators. Secondary target of this thesis was application of the Harry Pollak method.It is new young method that measures vitality of the enterprise. Method is focused on comprehensive evaluation of the business entity.

Interfirm Comparison of Dairies in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with interfirm comparison of twelfe selected Czech dairies between 2005-2009. The firms are ranked by various multicriterial methods with financial analysis ratios used as criteria. Companies are divided into groups by using the classification method and selected dairies are also evaluated by the spider analysis. The differences between applied methods are evaluated, as well the strengths and weaknesses of individual dairies.

Mezipodnikové srovnání stavebních podniků

Práce se zabývá mezipodnikovým srovnáním vybraného segmentu stavebních podniků v letech 2006 až 2008. Hodnotí vzájemné finanční postavení podniků se specializací na dopravní stavby za použití jednokriteriálních i vícekriteriálních metod, rozčleňuje podniky do skupin pomocí klasifikační metody a definuje přednosti a nedostatky v oblasti jejich finančního řízení.

Ve své diplomové práci jsem provedl mezipodnikové srovnávání společnosti Staropramen a.s. s konkurenčními společnostmi v odvětví pivovarnictví za období 2006 - 2008. Byly použity jak metody finanční analýzy (vertikální analýza účetních výkazů, analýza čistého pracovního kapitálu) tak i metody mezipodnikového srovnání: pořadí, bodovací, normované proměnné a vzdálenosti od fiktivního objektu.

Práce se zabývá mezipodnikovým srovnáváním čtrnácti českých pivovarů v letech 2005-2007. Podniky jsou seřazeny různými metodami dle poměrových ukazatelů finanční analýzy, rozčleněny do skupin klasifikační metodou a podrobeny grafické spider analýze. Jsou posouzeny přednosti a nedostatky užitých srovnávacích metod.

Diploma work is engaged in financial analysis of Stavby silnic a železnic, a.s. company. The aim is to pass judgment on company's present financial situation and its progress from year 2001. It is focused on important facts concerning financial health. It warns of possible threats and try to define some recommendations to achieve stability and prosperity. It utilizes theoretical knowledge of financial analysis like horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements, rules of financing, ratio indicators, pyramidal system of indicators, working capital analysis, basic economic inequality, EVA method and bankrupt models. Company is also compared with a number of transport building companies.

Analysis of the economic efficiency of the company TRW Volant Inc.

Diploma thesis deals with evaluation of the economic situation of the company TRW Volant Inc. in the years 2003 -- 2007 and assessment of its financial health by analysing the chosen economic indicators. There are shortly described the individual phases of financial analysis as a basic instrument of the economic analysis in the theoretical part and there are also explained some basic terms. The practical part is focused on further identification of the company and the branch where it operates in, and also on aplication of theoretical analyses by means of mathematic calculation and graphic comparison. For the analysis purposes I used f.e. ratio indexes from the sphere of profitability, liquidity, structure of capital, activity and capital market, value index EVA, chosen bankruptcy and financial standing models, Du Pont's pyramidal decomposition etc. One of the component parts is also comparison of the analysed company with an average of the branch.
