Services for people with visual and hearing disability in trains, buses, cinemas, theaters and cultural attractions in the South Bohemian Region

The aim of this thesis is to obtain current information on services for people with visual and hearing disability in trains, buses, cinemas, theaters and cultural attractions in the South Bohemian Region, and also determine their satisfaction with the above mentioned services. Thesis in its theoretical level deals with the theme of visual and hearing disability in terms of etiology, diagnosis, terminology and classification, a closer is devoted to the problems of persons with these two specific types of disability. Indicates the possibility of their education and training organizations for these people and provides a brief look into the history of the care for people with visual and hearing disability. In the next section the theoretical analysis are described in detail currently available in social services, transportation and cultural area of the South Bohemian Region and lists a number of organizations providing such services. There are services targeted directly to the clients with both the types of medical disability. The research then brings practical knowledge of the subjects specified issues. The form of the questionnaire survey on a sample population specifically the presence of visual and hearing disability residing in the South Bohemian Region were surveyed respondents' views on the topics of research. Structured interviews with people with visual and hearing disability representatives dealing with services for this population group disseminates research on qualitative dimension and gives a more comprehensive and coherent view of individuals at the researched topic. The results obtained by means of a poll survey and controlled interviews that offer services in the areas of transport and addressed the cultural sphere in the South Bohemian Region of the relatively high level. The interviewed people with visual and hearing disability declared in his most satisfaction with these services, many of them would of course welcome and some partial improvement of their quality and availability. Data obtained from the research and the conclusions drawn from them can serve as recommendations for practice, including for organizations active in the field of the care for people with medical disability, but also for public officials giving the basic concept in the field of social services, transport and culture of the South Bohemian Region.

Projekt se zabývá zkoumáním interakcí sociální sféry a životního prostředí v různých oblastech. Je založen na konfrontaci objektivně zjištěných dat týkajících se kvality životního a přírodního prostředí s realitou vnímanou obyvateli. Projekt je řešen v několika postupných krocích: Charakteristiky měst k výběru, Vyhodnocení charakteristik měst k výběru, případové studie vybraných měst, Anketa (zjištění pocitů a postojů obyvatel k hodnotám životního prostředí a postojů obyvatel jako reakce na kvalitu životního a přírodního prostředí), SWOT analýza, Výstupy a Doporučení.

Projekt se zabývá zkoumáním interakcí sociální sféry a životního prostředí v různých oblastech. Je založen na konfrontaci objektivně zjištěných dat týkajících se kvality životního a přírodního prostředí s realitou vnímanou obyvateli. Měl by vzniknout soubor konkrétních podnětů pro státní správu i samosprávu, jež umožní optimální využití území a krajiny s vyváženým podílem přírodních a kulturních prvků. Cílem projektu je identifikace a charakteristika faktorů působících na percepci kvality života v sídlech, analýza hodnotových stupnic a postojů, které mají vliv na kvalitu životního prostředí a udržitelného rozvoje a využití zjištěných poznatků pro podporu změn (tvorbu nástrojů na ovlivnění) směřujících ke zlepšení životního prostředí s motivací vytvořit podmínky pro hodnotnější způsob života.

Reflexe vnímání kvality životního prostředí ve vztahu k podpoře udržitelného rozvoje: Případové studie - subjektivní hodnocení

Součástí projektu je anketní šetření mezi obyvateli devíti sledovaných měst – Beroun, Děčín, Cheb, Jindřichův Hradec, Liberec, Nymburk, Písek, Prachatice, Ústí nad Labem. Náplní dotazníkového průzkumu je zjištění pocitů a postojů obyvatel k hodnotám životního prostředí a postojů obyvatel jako reakce na kvalitu životního a přírodního prostředí ve městě. Hlavním cílem anketního šetření je možnost následné konfrontace reality vnímané obyvateli měst s objektivně zjištěnými daty týkajícími se kvality životního a přírodního prostředí. Pro anketní šetření byl po odborných konzultacích sestaven jednotný dvoustránkový dotazník, obsahující celkem osmnáct otázek (dotazník je součástí přílohy). Anketa byla připravena jako anonymní a byla určena trvale bydlícím včetně přistěhovavších se obyvatel města starším osmnácti let. Výsledky ankety za jednotlivá města a meziměstské srovnání.

Reflexe vnímání kvality životního prostředí ve vztahu k podpoře udržitelného rozvoje: Metodika. Případové studie - objektivní parametry

V rámci případových studií bylo provedeno šetření, v němž byly zjišťovány objektivní parametry a informace o sociálním a přírodním prostředí, v souhrnu vypovídající o kvalitě života ve městě. Základní šetřené okruhy: podíl zastoupení zelených ploch na území města (prostřednictvím vyhodnocení územně plánovací dokumentace, případně generelů zeleně), hodnocení kvality životního prostředí (čistota ovzduší, vod, hluk atd.), hodnocení okolního prostředí (zastoupení prvků krajinných složek), hodnocení kulturní a sportovní vybavenosti a příležitostí pro volnočasové aktivity, relevantní sociální jevy (např. četnost sociálně patologických jevů). The European Ombudsman

The aim of this thesis is to introduce the role of the European ombudsman by describing the history of this office and the legal bases defining its competences. It also defines his relationship towards the European citizens and towards the various institutions at the European level. This thesis is focused on the description of the mechanisms of inquiries of the European ombudsman and on the characterization of various fields of these inquiries and also on more detailed description of the initiation, progress and conditions necessary for the successful conclusion of the case. Finally, this thesis deals with a specific own-initiative inquiry closed in 2011 as a demonstration of the work and achievements of this institution. Mainly English primary and secondary sources are used in this thesis. The sources basically consist of the Treaties on the European Union, the European Ombudsman's annual report, his publications, various articles on this subject or other Internet sources.

Methods and techniques of active teaching in Czech language on the middle school

The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out the influence of methods and techniques of active teaching on the level of essay-writing in the basic school. The theoretical part describes chosen methods and techniques of active teaching within the context of the educational process. An experiment was carried out in the practical part and it verified the influence of these methods on the development of essay-writing potential of the pupils. The popularity of the chosen methods and techniques of active teaching was being researched by a questionnaire survey. The methods of active teaching were discovered to facilitate the success rate of the essay-writing and a statistically significant increase in the number of sentences and syntactic pairs was found in the experimental group.
