Braking of an induction machine
Mareček, Šimon ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
The work is focused on the braking of an induction engine and the risks associated with it. In the first part, there are readers acquainted with the technical parameters of the induction engine, which is used for simulations. The second part focuses on the simulation program Ansys Maxwell and the finite element method. In the third part, there are readers introduced to a general description of the induction machine. The fourth part consists of countercurrent braking. The penultimate part is devoted to dynamic braking. The last part contains a brief introduction to generator braking. The chapters focused on braking are supplemented by simulated waveforms.
Measurement of the asynchronous motor
Svetlík, Martin ; Ondrák, Tomáš (referee) ; Běloušek, Josef (advisor)
The work deals with the methods of measurement of various types and characteristics of induction engines is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter introduces us to the history superficially induction engines and the direction of work. The second chapter is devoted to different types of tests on this induction engines. The third chapter lists the results of measurements on two engines also known as type AOM090L02-016 (which is equipped with single layer winding) and type AOM090L02-017 (which is equipped with a double layer winding). In the end this work describing measurement of torque characteristics from run-up characteristic by using PC and freewheel.
Measurement of induction machines
Sporni, Peter ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This work dissert about problematics of induction engines, which are the most used types of electrical drives used in present time. At the beginning we will explain their construction and its influence to the characteristics of the engine and possibilities of their regulation. In the next part we will describe some basic types of measurments implemented on these engines. To verify the theory which was described in this work we will discuss measurments realized on concrete types of engines. At the end we will calculate the main dimensions for one of the measured engine.
Impact of winding on induction machine characteristics
Mikmek, Vladislav ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the analysis of a three-phase winding of an induction engine. After the theoretical introduction concerning different types of windings, two types of their analysis and the importance of the winding factor, two methods of analysis and design tools are explained: Görges diagram and Tingley scheme. This scheme is then used for the design of all possible variants of winding for a certain number of stator slots and the theoretical shape of magnetic field is analysed. The next step is a deeper software analysis of the engines with variants of windings with different coil pitches and number of conductors per slot. Especially the finite element method is used in this part. The obtained values and their characteristics of the simulated engines are compared numerically and graphically. Then the changes of important values for different windings are described. The optimal winding according to chosen requirements is chosen.
The methodology for calculation small induction motor
Bureš, Petr ; Duroň, Jiří (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis addresses analysis of problematics concerning induction motors. The introduction is dedicated to description of basic principles of induction motor functions, describes individual construction components and also focuses on brief description of current regular design of those machines. The following section is dedicated to the design method and procedure for calculating, mainly focused on single phase induction motor with connected capacitor. The last section is focused on problematics concerning induction motor efficiency together with possible methods of loss reduction and efficiency improvement following the example of engine design.
Induction motor measurement on escalator
Pešová, Jana ; Lapčík, Josef (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned with decstription of induction engine. In this work is presented brief characteristic of induction engine. Then is this work treated of proces sof meassurement machine loading characteristic, specially on type engine which used in escalators.

Noise measurement of electric machines
Fodor, Viktor ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This work discusses the problem of generating noise in electrical rotating machines, engines. First we explain what noise and sound is, its characteristics, its distribution in machines. Then we discuss the possible sources of noise in electrical motors and the possible reduction of noise. To verify the theory mentioned in this work, we will execute a noise measuring on an induction engine. Further we realize a measurement of the operating curve of the machine. Finally, we describe various measurements.
