This thesis deals with the analysis and design changes to a specific company information system under real conditions, and is therefore more practically oriented. The information system is studied both from the perspective of the end user, which is the focus, and in terms of operation and implementation of program solutions. The information system is studied as a whole in a broader context, not only in terms of applications (software), but also in terms of the flow of information, storage and organization of data, users, security, hardware, etc. It should serve to the company as a guide for the elimination of inefficient and / or risk areas, thereby helping to improve work productivity and employee satisfaction.

The bachelor thesis is focused on assessment of the information system of selected company. After a detailed analysis of the company's current information system, the current state and theoretical threats for society are evaluated. Subsequently, proposals for changes to the system are described. The result of the work will be delivered to the management of the company for review and subsequent reflection on changes in the IS.

Quality Management in the Selected Company

This diploma thesis "Quality Management in the Selected Company" is focused on the quality management system in an international company, which is located in České Budějovice. The aim of this thesis is to suggest changes and recommendations for achieving higher level in current applied quality management system. Based on results from analysis of the chosen QMS areas, the respective suggestions were proposed. Based on the information from theoretical review, internal document analysis, interviews with the high management representatives and data analysis, various changes were suggested. All with one goal: establishing, keeping and continuously improving the quality management system which helps to ensure a prosperous and effectively working organisation with a stable position in the market where the organisation is present.

Double-stage system of subgrade stabilization

This diploma thesis is focused on the properties of unsuitable and conditionally unsuitable fine-grained soils after a one-stage or two-stage treatment by using a binder. The theoretical part occupies with problematical properties of the fine grained soils in a subgrade and a possible technology of the change of these properties. The laboratory testing of treated soils is described and a practical technology of the one stage and two-stage stabilization. In the practical part the fine grained soils are treated by one-stage or two-stage stabilization. For the one stage stabilization the cement is used, for the two-stage stabilization the properties of the soil are improved by lime and then the soil is stabilized by cement. The treated soils are laboratory tested, the initial bearing index IBI, California bearing ratio CBR, unconfined compressive strength and frost susceptibility is tested. Based on the results of the laboratory tests the benefit of the two-stage stabilization is measured.

Development of Singing Skills

The Bachelor thesis deals with improvement of singing skills. It is divided into two parts. First part describes parts of respiratory tract, techniques for correct breathing during singing, articulation and working with voice. The conclusion of the first part includes guidelines for styling of the singing tone. The second part follows up with the first part. It describes exercises for practicing of singing skills in a fun way.

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of lean project management. It is divided into four main parts. The opening one deals with general principles of project management. The second part includes a list of and a brief description of individual losses within the field. The remaining parts join managers’ practical knowledge with information from reference books. The conclusion contains a custom form which is a basis for an analysis of project work in a company that carries it out. An improvement suggestion follows.

Hodnocení výkonnosti společnosti s využitím EFQM Excelence Model

Purpose of the article: Tento článek pojednává o procesu hodnocení výkonnosti společnosti s využitím principů EFQM Modelu Excelence. Cílem článku je zhodnotit přínosy hodnocení výkonnosti prostřednictvím EFQM Modelu Excelence a zhodnotit výkonnost vybrané společnosti S&K PUBLIC na základě metodiky Modelu START, který vychází z principů EFQM Modelu Excelence a je vhodný jako první krok na cestě k excelenci. Methodology/methods: Pro hodnocení výkonnosti vybrané společnosti byl využit dotazníkový systém Model START, který obsahoval 50 otázek rozdělených do devíti oblastí. V hodnocené společnosti bylo provedeno dotazníkové šetření, prostřednictvím kterého společnost hodnotila svoji úspěšnost v devíti oblastech a na základě těchto výsledků byla vypočtena i její celková výkonnost. Článek podrobně uvádí, jak hodnocení touto formou probíhá, včetně konkrétních příkladů. Scientific aim: Primárním cílem tohoto článku je zhodnotit přínosy hodnocení výkonnosti prostřednictvím EFQM Modelu Excelence a zhodnotit výkonnost vybrané společnosti na základě metodiky Modelu START. Findings: Vyhodnocením dotazníků bylo zjištěno, ve kterých oblastech společnost vyniká, a naopak na které je třeba se zaměřit a hledat zde možnosti ke zlepšení. Na základě úspěšnosti devíti oblastí byla vypočtena i celková výkonnost společnosti, která činí 72,74 % a společnost S&K PUBLIC se tak řadí ke společnostem s vyšší dosaženou úspěšností své výkonnosti. Hodnocení výkonnosti prostřednictvím tohoto modelu tedy společnosti umožnilo identifikovat svou současnou situaci, snadněji nalézt své silné a slabé stránky a příležitosti ke zlepšení a určit budoucí nasměrování a priority, které budou v souladu s její strategií a politikou. Pro zvyšování výkonnosti a konkurenceschopnosti organizace je také vhodné výsledky hodnocení pravidelně srovnávat s konkurenčními společnostmi. Conclusions: Implementace EFQM Modelu Excelence přináší společnostem řadu pozitivních účinků a poskytuje návod na zlepšení výkonnosti společnosti na základě sebehodnocení. Výzkumy mnoha autorů prokázaly, že se společnostem podařilo zvýšit hodnotu akcií, provozní zisk, tržby a zaměstnanost. Pozitivní účinky byly pozorovány rovněž u motivace a uspokojení z práce zaměstnanců, snížení nákladů a počtu závad, zvýšení kvality produktů a tržního podílu a u spokojenosti zákazníků.

Measure the level of Leanness of specific company in the electronics industry

This thesis brings a view of the Leanness level of company based on ethnographic research. The combination of these two disciplines, the Lean concept and ethnography, is unique and brings new direction to research the level and approach of organizations to Lean philosophy. There is possible to assess the company in areas of value for customers, waste and continuous improvement through the research. Through the analysis, it is possible to find out where the organization has areas for improvement. The aim of the thesis is to propose the step to increase the level of Leanness of the organization. The thesis deals with the analysis and measurement of Leanness level of production and administrative processes in a manufacturing plant in the electronics industry.
