Study of DNA-doxorubicine interaction by electrochemical methods on nanostructured electrodes
Přibyl, Jakub ; Fohlerová, Zdenka (referee) ; Kynclová, Hana (advisor)
Cancer diseases are one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide, for this reason, great attention anticancer drugs. Doxorubicin falls into the category of the most widely used cancer drugs. The method of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were investigated properties of golds electrodes without deposit nanoparticles and electrodes with deposit gold nanoparticles. Using voltammetric measurements we detected doxorubicin and investigated the interaction of doxorubicin with oligonucleotides on gold electrodes without nanoparticles and electrodes modified with gold nanoparticles.
Electrolytes based on sulfolan and similar solvents
Máca, Josef ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
Submitted thesis deal with study of aprotic electrolytes in order to increase the safety for use in lithno – ionts accumulators. Increase of safety is specified by measuring the flash point of each electrolytes, at the same time are evaluated also other parameters important for use in accumulators. For determine the window of temperatures where the electrolytes can work is measured by melting point. The melting point is measured by cryoscopy. From electrical properties is measured specific conductivity of the electrolyte.
Study of intercalation properties of electrode materials based on naturla graphite
Bílek, Lukáš ; Máca, Josef (referee) ; Libich, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of lithium-ion accumulators. The thesis focuses on the negative electrode of lithium-ion accumulators made of natural graphite. The first part of this thesis points to the issue of electrochemical cells. In the theoretical part the thesis deals with the SEI layer, advantages, disadvantages, characteristics, operating principle and the use of lithium-ion accumulators. The practical part focuses on the electrochemical properties of negative electrode, especially the determination of the diffusion coefficient. Thesis also deals with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and its use in determining the equivalent replacement circuit and calculating the diffusion coefficient.
Printed insulating interlayrs
Olejníková, Marie ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (referee) ; Dzik, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with preparation and study of printed insulating interlayers based on barium titanate. The composition of ink formulation and method of deposition were investigated. The composition was optimised with the type of added binder. The printing was made using a screen printing method. Characterisation of prepared layers was made using contact profilometry and optical microscopy. Dielectric properties of layers were subsequently analysed using the impedance spektroskopy method.
Photoimpedace spectroscopy characterization of optical and electrical properties of the photovoltaic cells
Mocharová, Zuzana ; Chladil, Ladislav (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
Diploma thesis mainly describes the theoretical knowledge of the topic photoimpedance spectroscopy characterization of optical and electrical properties of the photovoltaic cells, which contains development and princip of cells working, material properties of photovoltaic cells, explanation of electromagnetic waves, spectrophotometry and impedance spectroscopy, followed by a discription of the measuring device and used measuring methods. The experimental section for each measurement method describes the steps of setting the program, then the tables with measured values are involeved in some parts and a part of each method are summary graphs of measured values with subsequent evaluation.
Study of Electric and Dielectric Properties of Alkali-Activated Aluminosilicate with Increased Electrical Conductivity
Florián, Pavel ; Pavlík, Zbyšek (referee) ; Matiašovský, Peter (referee) ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (advisor)
This dissertation deals with the study of electric and dielectric properties of composite structures on the base of alkali-activated aluminosilicates with admixtures of various carbon particles. These materials fabricated from alkali-activated blast furnace slag, quarz sand, natrium water glass as alkali activator, water, dispersant and small amount of carbon admixture (carbon black, graphite powder, carbon fibers or carbon nanotubes) to increase electric conductivity may be used for example to construction of snow-melting, deicing and self-monitoring systems. Their current-voltage characteristics and impedance spectra were used for determination of electric and dielectric properties of these structures. The equivalent circuits were used for evaluation of impedance spectra. The results were correlated with thermal properties of these structures.
Flammability aprotic electrolytes for lithium systems
Máca, Josef ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
Submitted thesis deal with study of flammability aprotic electrolytes and measuring theirs flashpoint. Definition flashpoint in depending on solvent mixtures and presents of nanoparticles in electrolyte for lithium systems. Thesis deal with conductivity measurement and her changes depending on the proportino of solvents and level and type of nanoparticle too.
Aprotic electrolytes for supercapacitors
Musílek, Václav ; Knotek, Tomáš (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals different types of the aprotic electrolytes for supercapacitors and investigates by impedance spectroscopy to conductivity and method cyclic voltametry to measure dimension potential windows. Used aprotic solvents: propylencarbonate, dimethylsulfoxide, N, N dimethylformamide, ethylencarbonate, dimethylcarbonate, diethylcarbonate and acetonitrile. In the aprotic solvents were appended salts: LiClO4, NaClO4, KClO4, LiBF4, LiPF6, TEABF4 and TMABF4. From these compounds were prepared solutions with the different molar concentrations.
The Temperature Dependence Of The Specific Conductivity Of Electrolytes for Lithium - ion Batteries
Svoboda, Petr ; Sedlaříková, Marie (referee) ; Máca, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the measurement of the temperature dependence of the specific conductivity of aprotic electrolytes for lithium - ion batteries. Samples that consisted of a mixture of aprotic solvents and salts with alkaline metals were prepared. Sulfolane in combination with another aprotic solvent was used in a mixture of solvents in all cases. Furthermore this thesis deals with the determination of the apparent activation energy of solvents and mixtures of solvents.
The Freezing Point Determination Of Electrolytes With Fire Retardant By Cryoscopy Method
Štulák, Stanislav ; Vondrák, Jiří (referee) ; Máca, Josef (advisor)
The thesis is devoted to the field of properties investigation of new types of electrolytes, and assess the appropriateness of electrolytes studied in this paper for use in Li -ion batteries. It focuses specifically on electrolytes based on aprotic solvents and their mixtures with the flame retardants. The goal of the thesis is to investigate the effects of FRAs on electrolyte mixtures via changes in specific conductivity and freezing point. These objectives were fulfilled by using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in combination with a cryoscopic measurement method. There were overall 16 samples examined. The samples were prepared as a combination of chemicals, specifically Ethylene carbonate (EC), propylene carbonate (PC), dimethyl carbonate (DMC), dimethyl sulfone (DMSO2), triethyl phosphate (TEP) Dimethyl methylphosphonate (DMMP), triphenyl phosphate (TPP). Based on the results of the experiments, the mixtures were sorted according to the observed properties in the tables listed in the last part of this paper. These values can be further used to supplement the continuing research of electrolytes and also as assistance in searching for the new electrolyte mixtures.
