Podcast as a didactic aid of teacher

TITLE: Podcast as a didactic aid of teacher AUTHOR: Bc. Miloslav Khas DEPARTMENT: Department of Information & Technical Education SUPERVISOR: Ing. Bořivoj Brdička, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: Use of podcast as an educational medium is the principal and crucial topic of this thesis. The diploma thesis is focused on history and development of this phenomenon and points to the possibilities of podcast use at primary schools. The goal of this thesis is to show not only the advantages and benefit of the podcast for pupils and the teacher, but also to highlight the possible problems during its use and introduction. The theoretical part is dealing with aspects and podcast use at schools and provides an overview of existing researches. The other part is giving us an overview of existing solutions and good examples of practice at Czech schools and schools in abroad. The main part represents an experiment description including own solution proposal used at the primary school in Staňkov. This thesis can serve as a podcast guide for other possible interested persons striving for similar activities. Apple's Marketing

The topic of this bachelor's diploma work is examine the Apple Company marketing. The main aim of the work is analysis and characteristic of Apple Company marketing. The bachelor's diploma work consists of some parts. The first part describes the Apple Company and on the basis of studying recommended and professional literature marketing and marketing strategies terms were explained. The second part is devoted to marketing activities of Apple Company, detailed marketing mix 4P of Apple Company and creating SWOT analysis. The third part describes comparative analysis of iPhones cellphones against Samsung. And in the end is given answer why Apple is with it all positive factors, huge capitalization, successful marketing and advertising is losing its position on the market. What is the reason? How Apple can fight against it and does Apple make attempts to fix it or leave it without changes? Apple's position is estimated by using different indexes in the forms of graphs, sales and etc., which confirm the losing of competitive ability of Apple Company.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyse existing tools for developing the concept of a brand that allow a systematic approach in their design and to propose ideas for improvement of these tools. The research object is the concept of building a brand according to the "Who? What? How?" Brand Building Framework. From the brand development of the portable digital player iPod, used as an example in thesis, the practical use of this model is analysed and a short evaluation of its effectiveness is performed.
iPad and its potential in education

This master thesis focuses on the Apple's iPad in the educational institutions and provides reader with the compact overview about the device in this field. Firstly, it shows the strategy of the company in the Europe and the Czech Republic. Secondly, there are mentioned iPad competitors from the different perspectives and the comparison. Thirdly, iPad usage in the schools; if it is even suitable device for this field and how students and educators can benefit from it. This is followed by the survey among the high school and university students. The questionnaire was divided into the two groups -- non-iPad users and iPad users. And lastly the thesis shows various case studies from the different schools and how the iPad can be implemented into the curriculums. Also contains recommendations and the best practises from the different high schools and universities, which can be inspiring for the new iPad pilot projects.
Mac as a working tool of student at University of Economics in Prague

This thesis focuses on the products (mainly computers) of Apple Inc. It shows the strategy of the company in the foreign states and the Czech Republic. Compares notebooks from the company with competitors on the Czech market. The main contribution of this work is to assess the compatibility of the operating system Mac OS X at the University of Economics in Prague. Furthermore, implementation and evaluation of the survey regarding the Macintosh among students at the University of Economics in Prague. Finally, there are mentioned the alternative use of computer technology at the University of Economics in Prague.
