Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na produkty (především počítače) společnosti Apple. Ukazuje strategii společnosti v zahraničních státech a v České republice. Srovnává notebooky od této firmy s konkurenty dostupnými na českém trhu. Hlavním přínosem této práce je posouzení kompatibility operačního systému Mac OS X v prostředí Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze. Dále pak provedení a vyhodnocení průzkumu ohledně počítačů Macintosh mezi studenty na VŠE v Praze. Závěrem jsou nastíněny alternativní možnosti využití výpočetní techniky na VŠE v Praze. This thesis focuses on the products (mainly computers) of Apple Inc. It shows the strategy of the company in the foreign states and the Czech Republic. Compares notebooks from the company with competitors on the Czech market. The main contribution of this work is to assess the compatibility of the operating system Mac OS X at the University of Economics in Prague. Furthermore, implementation and evaluation of the survey regarding the Macintosh among students at the University of Economics in Prague. Finally, there are mentioned the alternative use of computer technology at the University of Economics in Prague.
