Development of musicial abilities of children of preschool age through chosen musical instruments

This bachelor thesis deals with the development of musical skills in preliminary education with the support of specified musical instruments. This thesis contains four extended parts. The first part covers a formal characteristic of preschool age from a psychical, mental, emotional and social aspect. The influence of games on this development period is also covered here. The next chapter hosts the structure of musical skills. They can be comprised into eight separate categories: musical auditory skills, rhythmic sense, tonal sense, harmonic sense, musical memory, musical imagination, musical thinking as well as musical creative abilities. The third part of this thesis covers the musical evolvement of preschool children. The closing part deals with the process of designing and making simple musical instruments from available materials. It also presents suggestions for activities featuring musical instruments to further improve musical skills.
Development of musical activities in children of younger school age

The work is concerned with the development of musical activities in children of primary school. This bachelor thesis contains the psychological development of the child, auditory perception, vocal system, introduces us to the basic concepts of music theory, defines the concept of musicality, it introduces us to how music education affects the child's health. Finally, this thesis also offers examples of suitable musical activities for children of this age that can be used in music lessons.

It characterizes the older school age with regard of musical development as well. It also deals with leisure time and summer camp. The second part deals with suitable topics for the contents of the summer camp. Activities and games were selected in order to support the development of musicality of the target group.

The development of musicality, ie musical abilities, can be created through musical activities. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the definition of musicality, motivation and relation to music it also points out the musical development of man and psychological musical concepts that are associated with musicality. In the field of music psychology, it deals with the development of musical abilities through musical activities that are used in primary schools. Deviations that may occur in music are also mentioned, they are a disorder of musical abilities and higher manifestations of music. In its practical part, this bachelor's thesis focuses on a fun and educational form of developing musical skills and activities in practice.
Analysis of teaching materials in the field of music education for children aged 3-6 and their use in practice

Analysis of teaching materials in the field of music education for children 3 to 6 years and their use in practice The theoretical part of the paper summarizes the current knowledge about the concept of music education in kindergarten, describes the musical ability and position of musical activities in the Framework curriculum for pre-school education. Furthermore, this work characterized the components of music education, such as singing, instrumental music and movement and listening activities. The practical part consists of two parts. The first section contains the mapping of the current situation of teaching materials for preschool children. Research method was a questionnaire survey, which was determined by width and source of musical materials that teachers use in practice with preschool children. The second part is methodical and includes songbook in which the notation of specific songs that appear when working in nursery schools. Development of music and movement choreography for preschool children using my own didactic tools

Master's thesis addresses the implementation of didactic tool to musical movement activities of preschool children in kindergarten with respect to the integrative nature of education. The first part of the thesis is covering theoretical side of the important aspects of child development at the age of five to six years. Further it deals with the specifics of the development of musicality in preschoolers, especially focusing on instrumental side of the music. It highlights the musical creativity that flows from the principles of Orff School. Musical creativity is one of the objective of the thesis second, practical part. Here thesis research music educational project whose main component is a methodical set Cup Song that contains suggestions for practical usage. Experiment, observation and structured interview are used as methods of research that is focused on verification of the Cup Song impact on a musical and personal development of the child. Folk-song in pedagogy for pre-school children

The thesis concerns practical possibilities how to work with folk-songs not only for building-up the musical skills of pre-school children but also for the influence of their overall personal development. The theoretical part describes the folk-song development in RVP PV, particular musical activities working with songs and this part also mentions the devolepment of pre- school child(e)ren abilities and shortly describes the personality of pre-school pedagogue. The practical part concerns how to work with the folk-song in practice. The concrete example (set of songs) shows how is possible to develop children's personality via musical activities. Songs contain practial topics according to defined aims, which are realised in the concrete nursery school. Subsequently are recorded children's reactions at implemented activities. Non-traditional Musical Instruments and their Utilization in Music Education Lessons

This bachelor thesis Non-traditional Musical Instruments and their Utilization in Music Education Lessons focuses on homemade instruments and common objects and deals with their usage in elementary music activities. The chapter about musical instruments aims to classify the non-traditional instruments and puts them into the context of traditional and children's musical instruments. A Few examples of homemade musical instruments are given. Afterwards, advantages and disadvantages related to production and implementation of handcrafts in education are discussed, while considering various criteria (accessibility, pedagogical, and psychological points of view etc.). An emphasis is put on Orff-pedagogy, which can work as the basis for music education, utilizing non-traditional musical instruments. At the end of the thesis, activities and games developing musical abilities (primarily rhythmic ability) via the use of non-traditional musical instruments are included.
