Prof. Eva Jenčková and her contribution to specialization of Czech music pedagogy

The content of the dissertation work is the professional characteristics of a prominent Czech music educator Prof. PhDr. Eva Jenčková, CSc. It introduces the breadth of her scientific, pedagogical and musical organizational activities, and characterizes the main areas of her professional interest. It focuses on music education didactics at all levels of schooling, the enrichment of music repertoire including methodological arrangements, music for children in context of theoretical, interpretative, and music pedagogy aspects. It also outlines the optimal preparation of music education students and further education of music teachers, implemented in our country and abroad in a form of creative music workshops. One of the main subjects of her publications is movement in music education. Based on the content analysis of Eva Jenckova's complex music pedagogy work and the assessments of other education professionals, this publication presents the characteristics of her multi layered personality and her professional mastery. It clarifies her innovative approach in the area of optimizing music education with characteristic feature, a transfer of proven theories into practical model solutions. The aims of music education with students with special educational needs

In accordance with the topic and title of the dissertation, we dedicate the first chapter of the theoretical part to terms related to the category of pedagogical aim, defining it from the perspective of general pedagogy, music pedagogy and special pedagogy. In the following chapters we continue with analyses of educational programmes, of the concept of aesthetic education, defining the terms "a student with special educational needs" and "a student with disabilities" with subchapters focusing on individual types of disabilities, which are then used in the research part of the work: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), developmental learning disorders, impaired communication ability, mild mental retardation and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The sixth and final chapter of the first part presents a theoretical definition of aesthetic (music) education in the current educational system, taking into account the issue of musical education of students with special educational needs. European specifics of the art of percussion instruments: Basics of natural playing

This work is a summary of the information and knowledge about the basics that make up the present tradition of playing percussion instruments in Europe (predominantly Western). Its main purpose is to support the development of percussion instruments in Czech Republic, especially in schools, where the playing level is in the development stage and needs to be supported from other sources. During my Master's study at HAMU (2014-2017), I took part in many of international events in this field, which were focused on the development of young musicians of my generation on musical, technical, mental and aesthetic side. The obtained information by feedbacks and comments from leading teachers and performers in the field is the absolute basis for this work. Awareness of the principles and basics that will be written here requires a presence of certain musical and life experiences, so this work is intended for the age category from the students of secondary vocational schools and above.

This bachelor´s thesis is concerned with the education of pre-school children in Schools of Arts. It is focused on a four-branch system of schooling, which is so far not much widespread form of parallel education in all four branches taught in Schools of Arts – dance, music, dramatic and visual arts. The aim of my work is to prepare some materials and topics for this kind of teaching and thus to ease the work of teachers who would like to work this way but can be discouraged for example by the demands of preparing such a project.

The Professors of Clarinet at HAMU after 1990

The purpose of the thesis is to have an insight into the progress of the musical career of clarinet teacher at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, who worked here from 1990 to the present It is mainly based on personal interviews with those people and to a small extent on Internet sources. The text is accompanied by rich photographic attachments. The thesis describes the development of individual teachers during their lifetime. We will learn what led them to the music, the beginning of the plays, learning, competitive activity, information on their concert track - solo, orchestral or chamber. The various stages of their lives are divided into chapters as needed. The thesis focuses primarily on close knowledge of listed teachers and conclusions of my work can serve as a source and as a thank you to living individual teachers for their continuing exemplary teaching.
Alena Tichá and her contribution to the voice education of the primary school children with lower music aptitude

The aim of the diploma thesis is to research the contribution of a prominent music educationalist PaedDr. Alena Tichá, PhD., who specialized in primary school children with lower music aptitude in her music education metodology. The thesis is focused to gathering basic information about biographical, bibliographical, theoretical and psychological-pedagogical characters which will not only lead to clarification of Alena Ticha's contribution and her methodology of vocal education and working with non-singers, but also to formation of a theoretical scope of our own research into this branch. The theoretical scope is focused on Czech musical and pedagogical fellowship and its awarness of Alena Tichá's singing methodology as well as on possible practical experience of respondents with this methodology when working with non-singers.
