In addition to pregnancy planning and other non-contraceptional benefits, it also has certain risks. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is used primarily for treatment of estrogen deficiency in postmenopausal women. HRT is associated with a number of risks, in particularly for women 60+ of age. Analysis of spontaneous adverse drug reactions (ADRs) reporting contribute to detection of potential risks associated with pharmacotherapy, thereby increases the safety of the drugs. Aim: The aim of this thesis was to analyse spontaneous ADRs reports of HC and HRT registered in the Czech Central Database of ADRs of the State Institute for Drug Control (SÚKL). The knowledge about contraceptive methods of the pupils of the selected school

This bachelor thesis is focusing on the knowledge of pupils of specified middle school about contraception methods. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to find out the level of the knowledge of middleschool pupils about contraception methods, sexual education sources and the connectivity of their teoretical knowledge with praxis. In the theoretical part of the thesis are given basic concepts related to the reproductive health, anatomical concepts, menstruation and puberty and also the importance of contraception methods in relation to abortion and sexually transmitted diseases. It contains also the selection of sexually transmitted diseases and historical evolution of contraception methods. In the practical part of the thesis contains data analysis from the questionairre survey among middleschool students. Based on the obtained results, a short recommendation is concluded.
The influence of muscle tonus with hormonal contraception

Title The influence of muscle tonus with hormonal contraception Objective The thesis aims to determine whether and to what extent the use of hormonal contraception affects muscle tension, which can vary depending on the current phase of the menstrual cycle in women. Method The thesis is divided into theoretical part where there is a summary of information on this topic from the literature Czech and world, a special part that is treated as research using noninvasive myotonometer. The measurement is performed in 12 probands four times in four weeks, always at some stage of their menstrual cycle. The measurement results are compared between the two groups by probands and is found to influence hormonal contraceptives on muscle tension during the menstrual cycle. Results Measurement myotonometer shows that hormonal contraceptive use affects muscle tension. The measurement results show a stable and predictable changes in fluctuating muscle tension in probands who use hormonal contraceptives, but the rate changes are subject to interpersonal differences, and these results can not give a general opinion. Public awareness of hormonal contraceptives in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis provides an insight into how the public is aware of both the negative and positive impacts of hormonal contraceptives. Nowadays, hormonal contraceptives are one of the most common methods of contraception. Although being so popular, people are not much aware either of the other potential positive effects (in addition to contraception) or of the negative impacts that hormonal contraceptives have upon the organism of a woman. Hormonal contraceptives do not only influence the fertility of a woman, but also various biochemical processes in the woman's body. The theoretical part of this thesis makes the reader aware of the fundamental principles of menstrual cycle, development of hormonal contraceptives of all types worldwide that are used nowadays and in particular of the positive and negative effects of hormonal contraceptives upon the organism of a woman. The practical part contains an analysis of a questionnaire investigation. The aim of this thesis is to find out how the public is informed of the positive and negative effects of hormonal contraceptives and to make aware of the occurrence of such effects among the general public. Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou užívání ženské hormonální antikoncepce z perspektivy mužů jakožto jejich partnerů. V teoretické části podává ucelený obraz o expertním i veřejném diskurzu a základních argumentech souvisejících s problematikou v odborné literatuře. Analytická část je konstruovaná prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s vybranými respondenty, kteří svými odpověďmi vykreslují podobu této problematiky z mužské perspektivy. Jejich výpovědi jsou průběžně analyzované genderovou optikou. Diplomová práce volně navazuje na předchozí práce, zabývající se sociálními aspekty užívání hormonální antikoncepce z pohledu žen. ABSTRACT This diploma thesis deals with the problematics concerning the female usage of hormonal contraception from the perspective of their male partners. In the theoretical part, the thesis describes the basic assertions, expert as well as public discourse linked with the problematics represented in professional literature. Submitted thesis deals with the topic of synthetic hormones and human perception of this matter. The phenomenon of the endocrinal disruption that contains synthetic hormones as well is presented in the theoretical part. Then the attention is paid to the negative impacts on human body and on the environment as well as to low effectiveness of the wastewater treatment plant to deal with those pollutants. The practical part of the thesis contains survey among respondents of the Social and cultural department and Electronic culture and semiotics department on the Faculty of humanities of the Charles University. This survey deals with the awareness of this topic, consumer behaviour and opinions on the attention that is paid to this matter in the Czech Republic as well as on the ideal solution to this topic.
