A Set of Web Tools for Visualization Geo-Location System Performance
Hodoval, Pavel ; Pavelková, Alena (referee) ; Brejcha, Jan (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is to create a set of web tools and web user interface to present the results of geo-location system. Thesis contains introduction to theory of data visualization in cartography and basic image processing algorithms. Also there is a research of existingsolutions and tools as well as available web technologies. As a result, a library for geographic data processing and visualization was implemented and its results are shown as web map presenting geographical and statistical data. Quality of the implementation was verified and tested by user test and automated machine test with mostly positive results.

Estimation of the Probability of Occurrence of Persons in an Area
Koprda, Peter ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mrázek, Vojtěch (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to implement application that creates estimation of the probability of occurrence of persons in an area from given map data. The estimation of the probability is displayed by using a heat map. Heat map is created by using defined tags which determine how many people are in the area. During the implementation map data from OpenStreetMap were used. The created application can be used during the planning of the electricity equipment construction, which can be life-threatening if people are close to the area of this equipment.

Tool for RDF geodata visualization on a map
Rous, Daniel ; Nečaský, Martin (advisor) ; Škoda, Petr (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to design, implement and test a web application, which will visualize RDF data in a heat map. The heat will be defined by the user's metric data se- lection. The application will simplify user's selection needed for visualization by automatic detection of metric and location data in loaded schema. User will have an opportunity to filter data by some data properties. The application will be tested on two different data sources. One of them will be Central register of grants (IS CEDR III). The other one will be the agenda dataset from Rights and Duties Register (RPP). 1

Trends in retail banking and their impact on bank’s IT architecture
Jabůrek, Tomáš ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Hladík, Martin (referee)
The theme of this thesis are trends in retail banking and their impact on bank's IT architecture. The history teaches us that the ability to catch trends quickly and to use them can bring significant competitive advantage. At the same time some trends may pose a threat to the company and their (trends) early detection may prevent later problems. It is therefore important to monitor trends and evaluate their impact on bank's business. Roughly half of the overall bank costs consists of IT costs which are determined by IT architecture of the bank. Bank's IT is defined by IT architecture so it is useful to consider examining the impact of trends to the IT architecture. The aim of this thesis is to identify impact of trends in retail banking on bank's IT architecture. In the first part I analyze trends in retail banking in order to find out which are the key. In the next section I compare different reference IT architectures. Subsequently at the most appropriate architecture I identify impact of trends in retail banking on bank's IT architecture. Banks that perceive trends mentioned in this thesis as important and at the same time have similar architecture which I describe in this thesis may use my findings to gain competitive advantage or to take measures necessary to mitigate risks which are connected with coming trends which can have a negative impact on banks.
