The purpose of the diploma thesis is assess the impact of piles on primary collector lining. Using a mathematical model has been calculated interaction between pile ond collector lining. The main task is to decide the length dependence of the pile deformations and internal forces that are the concrete lining of the collector.

The role of funeral rituals in secular society. The thesis discusses the importance of funeral rituals in a secularized society, enlightens the importance of funeral rituals in archaic and traditional cultures and in present time. In the first chapter the basic concepts are defined - ritual and funerary ritual, on which the work is based. Further attention is paid to the history of burying within our territory and the form of funerary rituals in Czech folk tradition, including peculiarities in the way of burying in the past. The history of burial and funeral rituals is followed by a description of funerary rite types and burial methods in the present. Then the thesis details the changes of approach in the secular funeral rites in the 20th century and the funeral rites of selected ethnic minorities in the Czech Republic. The penultimate chapter deals with the rituals and monuments of the deceased. The thesis is concluded with a chapter on the importance of funeral rites in a secularized society.
Inscriptions on the graves in the region Poličsko

The diploma thesis deals with a complex research of tomb inscriptions located in cemeteries in micro-region Poličsko. It specifies and characterizes the researched region and defines its history. Besides dealing with an appearance of cemeteries, graves and tombstones all inscriptions are classified by a location on a tombstone and topic. The research also carries out the analysis of their content and introduces quotations from the Bible, extracts of songs and poems, statements of famous people written on tombstones and identifies their sources. Moreover it also analyzes German inscriptions on the graves in the researched field and compares them with the same age Czech inscriptions. My paper presents foreign language inscriptions in original forms, and translates them into Czech language. Last but not least it writes down the tomb inscriptions in their accurate form. The Neolithic site with graves in Hrobčice, Distr. of Teplice (excavations 2011)

This work deals with the archaeological research that was done in 2011 in Hrobčice (district Teplice). Based on the dating of archaeological material was found settlement continuity from the Linear Pottery culture in the turn of Neolithic and Eneolithic. The findings can be generally classified into prehistory of Neolithic Linear Pottery culture, Stroked Pottery culture (the older, the early and late phase), in the turn Neolithic and Eneolithic. A few of ceramic fragments are probably from Eneolithic, Eneolithic-Bronze and Modern Age. From 19 objects were collected ceramic and stone industry (especially chipped stone industry of quartzite type Skršín), daub, pigment, human and animal bones (including the shell). From ceramic finds is interesting group Malice cup, from stone industry Bavarian banded chert. On the test site were also found two graves, atypical was especially grave in the building 3/11 (dead were stored in a non-anatomical position with a red dye).
Roman Lamps From Cemeteries in Gerulata (Rusoviec)

This catalogue documents Roman lamps from the cemeteries of Gerulata (modern-day Rusovce). It consists of 16 Bildlapmen, 89 Firmalampen, and one special shape. These lamps were found mainly in two large cemeteries, in both cremation and inhumation graves, dated from the last decades of the 1 st century AD to the dawn of the 3rd century. Of the Bildlampen, several lamps with angular voluted nozzles (Loeschcke type I) and one fragment of a circular lamp with a rounded nozzle (Loeschcke type VIII) are represented. Of the Firmalampen, both Loeschcke types IX and X are found, type X and its variations being the most numerous (67 lamps). The iconography of relief decorations shows a range of mythological and profane images. Twenty different makers' stamps in relief are found, two without parallels, with Fortis as most common. The production, transport and copying of Firmalampen is described; resulting endeavors to locate their point of origin are determined to be often unreliable without chemical analysis. Both the relationship of lamps to other grave goods as well as their purpose in graves are assessed; lamps are found to have been an available luxury, as appropriate in a Romanized society. Burial Rituals

This work mainly deals with burial rituals and a way of handling with dead bodies from past times to the presence. The first chapter tries to define basic terms speci-fied by various authors. The second chapter deals with a description of burial ritu-als during present and past times. This chapter mainly focuses on the Czech tradi-tion and is completed by G. Maiell{\crq}s research on contemporary exploitation of crematoriums. The third part of the work deals with the burial rituals of pre-Christian cultures in Europe, especially Celtic, Germanic and Slavonic traditions. The fourth chapter focuses especially on the rituals of noneuropean cultures, e.g. Chinese or Islamic. The last part of this paper includes special ways of burying of dead bodies, e.g. children{\crq}s burials, burials of young people or dealing with dead bodies by unusual situations, e.g. during epidemic periods.
