Functional surfaces and surface texture
Novák, Jiří ; Brandejs, Jan (referee) ; Svoboda, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor publication was an elaboration of professional recherche about geometric product specification (GPS). My publication contains the comparison of the foregone and current norms, which include parameters surface texture and notation surface texture, relation of surface texture and surface function, incoming development trends and needful supplements.
Non-contact method for surface texture evaluation
Svoboda, Martin ; Rebenda, David (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on non-contact methods for surface texture evaluation. The aim of the thesis is to describe a set of surface texture parameters and non-contact methods of their measurement. It‘s main focus is the prescription of suitable parameters for functional surfaces according to their application. The conclusion of the thesis consists of general recommendations for selection of suitable surface texture parameters for functional surfaces, which are applied to specific surfaces occurring in practice. It has been found that a considerable number of parameters and costly experimental research is required for a thorough description of the functional surfaces, and therefore the current evaluation of the surface roughness by means of the Ra and Sa parameters is convenient.
Analysis and Evaluation of Surface Texture Effects of Tested Samples
Fuciman, Lukáš ; Dobrocký, David (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The thesis deals with an evaluation of the surface texture of various materials, created by machining technologies (turning, milling and grinding). As for the theoretical part of the thesis, it contains a theoretical analysis of the effect of surface texture on friction, wear, coating and lubricating properties. The main emphasis is put on the analysis of the most frequently evaluated profile and surface parameters as well as their possible influence on the functional areas of machined parts. The experimental part includes evaluated and compared measured data based on the monitored parameters with benefits for machinery industry.

Assessment of urban planning documentation development in selected locality
ŠRUC, Lukáš
The Master Thesis deals with the evaluation of the development of territorial plans documentation in the cadastral territory of the town Trebon. The main objective is the evaluation and comparison of the spatial arrangement of the individual functional areas in the territorial plans from the years 1959, 1976, 1993 and 2012; and the contribution of the plans to the development, accouterment, and protection of the examined territory. Another part of the thesis is an own proposal of changes to the current territorial plan. The theoretical part deals with the basic concepts, the history of the legal regulation of spatial planning in the Czech Republic, forms, subjects and processes in spatial planning, the geography of the city and suburbanization. The methodological part describes the database with the issue of its acquisition; the methodical procedure of unifying the legends of the individual spatial plans; and the characteristics of the examined territory. In the analytical part, there is evaluated the historical development of the building composition in Trebon, the conclusions regarding the representation of the individual functional areas in the spatial plans and the comparison of their development. An important component of the thesis is the map outputs presenting the spatial arrangement of functional areas in the territory of Trebon in the analyzed territorial plans.

The incorporation of new areas of suburbanization into the surrounding landscape
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Marta
The diploma thesis evaluates the spatial plans of chosen municipalities of commercial and residential suburbanization in the area of České Budějovice. The issue of research were particularly old and new plans of both municipalities and their comparison, including the proposal of new functional areas in the territory. The most important documentary used were the spatial plans of municipalities and following terrain research . Results are presented by both - text and graphic form. For processing the results geographic information systém ArcGIS 10 was used.
