Freelance Business

The thesis deals with a freelance business. The main goal of the thesis is to identify the pros and cons of a freelancers business and to present the current state of freelancers in the Czech Republic. The current state of the freelance business is analysed by means of a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire is in electronic form and is intended for Czech freelancers from the different disciplines. The questionnaire focuses mainly on the field of marketing of freelancers. These answers of 125 respondents are brought into graphs. Some of the results from the questionnaire are compared with those of Robert Vlach´s research. These resulting research charts show the current state of freelancers in the Czech Republic.
Návrh rozvoje coworkingového centra KoPlac

This bachelor thesis deals with the co-working centers of Brno. The theoretical part summarizes the history of co-working and defines concepts important for understanding the topic. The aim of the thesis is to propose a viable plan for the development of co-working center, which will lead to a creation of co-worker community. For these purposes, the author works with structured interviews and qualitative research through which analyzes the current state of centers and the needs of potential co-workers.
Journalist as a digital nomad

This diploma thesis deals with digital nomadism (modern way of teleworking, enabled mainly by the existence of internet and social networks) and implications of this phenomenon for journalistic environment and media functioning. In the Czech environment, this issue has been explored so far, and digital nomadism is rapidly changing in view of the rapid technological development of the media environment on the internet. The author wanted to add this gap to the thesis, both in theory and in primary research. Through interviews with specific digital nomads (especially Czechs and Czechs), she tries to answer basic questions about how the digital nomads actually happened, their motivation, the specifics of their work and, last but not least, whether it is possible as a digital nomad - actually a journalist to feed. The concept of digital nomadism first captures theoretically, both in general, in the context of the technological development of the media environment (new media and formats) and changes in the labor market in the journalistic environment, and specifically in terms of media theory. Coworking – Present Theory and Practice Based on the Examples of Specific Centres and their Users

The theoretical part of the thesis outlines the entire topic from the broad perspective created namely by foreign publications. Then the thesis presents the theories of two American sociologists whose conclusions represent the anticipation of the subject analysed here. This is followed by the definition of coworking and its brief history, the perspectives on it that management has adopted by comparing coworking to clusters as defined by Michael Porter. The purpose of the practical part of the thesis is to describe the functioning of coworking in real life situations, this from the perspective of the managers (or owners) of coworking centres, and their users. The data was obtained by quality and quantitative research, namely by multicase analysis and questionnaires data analysis. Individual chapters of the thesis describe conclusions reached from this research. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the most important facts and results obtained by the research, it also confirms the hypothesis which was the basis of the thesis.
Establishment of a coworking center in ČB

The master thesis is focusing on coworking centres that are very popular these days. The main goal is to create a realistic business plan that is describing an establishment of a coworking centre in Ceske Budejovice. The first part is focusing on several analysis. Analysis of coworking centres in the CR, analysis of the competition in CB, SWOT analysis and an online research can be found there. The practical part of the thesis covers the business plan. The plan includes information about the whole concept, about the way of managing the centre and also information about the main activities and offered services. Important part of the business plan is focusing on potential customers and marketing communication. The end is dedicated to the calculations of incomes and expenses.
