Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá digitálním nomádstvím (moderním způsobem práce na dálku, umožněným zejména existencí internetu a sociálních sítí) a implikacemi tohoto fenoménu pro žurnalistické prostředí a fungování médií. V českém prostředí je tato problematika probádána dosud jen málo, navíc se digitální nomádství s ohledem na rychlý technologický rozvoj mediálního prostředí na internetu nadále rychle mění. Autorka chtěla předloženou diplomovou prací tuto mezeru doplnit, a to jak teoreticky, tak primárním výzkumem. Prostřednictvím rozhovorů s konkrétními digitálními nomády (zejména Čechy a Češkami) se snaží zodpovědět základní otázky, týkající se toho, jak se vlastně dotyční digitálními nomády stali, jejich motivace, specifik jejich práce a v neposlední řadě toho, zda je možné se jako digitální nomád - žurnalista vlastně vůbec uživit. Koncept digitálního nomádství práce nejprve podchycuje teoreticky, a to jak obecně, v kontextu technologického rozvoje mediálního prostředí (nová média a formáty) a změn napracovním trhu v žurnalistickém prostředí, tak specificky z hlediska teorie médií. Konkrétně analyzuje digitální nomádství v kontextu technologické konvergence a hybridizace médií. Zejména se na základě dostupné, hlavně zahraniční literatury pokouší pojem a koncept digitálního nomáda a nomádství vůbec... This diploma thesis deals with digital nomadism (modern way of teleworking, enabled mainly by the existence of internet and social networks) and implications of this phenomenon for journalistic environment and media functioning. In the Czech environment, this issue has been explored so far, and digital nomadism is rapidly changing in view of the rapid technological development of the media environment on the internet. The author wanted to add this gap to the thesis, both in theory and in primary research. Through interviews with specific digital nomads (especially Czechs and Czechs), she tries to answer basic questions about how the digital nomads actually happened, their motivation, the specifics of their work and, last but not least, whether it is possible as a digital nomad - actually a journalist to feed. The concept of digital nomadism first captures theoretically, both in general, in the context of the technological development of the media environment (new media and formats) and changes in the labor market in the journalistic environment, and specifically in terms of media theory.
