Trends in working conditions

3 The bachelor thesis Trends in working conditions is focused on current tendencies in the area of working conditions, especially on the trend of democratization in organizations. The thesis analyzes this phenomenon, because it has not been described in association with working conditions enough. The main goal is to ascertain the reasons of growth of this phenomenon, its essence and the way it is realized. The reasons and the context of the formation and the growth are desribed according to surveys in a field of working satisfaction and can be also found in theories of working motivation. The essence is explained according to the authorities in this field. The emphasis is on the relationship between democratization in organizations and the working conditions. Every aspect of working conditions is described in detail, especially focused on the trends of democratization. The analysis is based on the examples of realization in real organizations. These examples can be found in whole thesis, related to the currently discussed topics. In general, the thesis strives for widening of existing knowledge with complex analysis of relationship between democratization in organizations and the working conditions. Freedom at Work - Process of Transformation to Free Company

The Master's thesis analyses the proces of transformation of company to free company according to cases of companies which already completed this process. The thesis analyses particular steps of the process and focus in detail on common, specific and the most problematic phases of the process. It also analyses historical development of the concept and principles free companies are based on. The thesis includes also short analysis of personnel policy of free companies and characteristic of their leaders.
Freedom at work

This Master´s Thesis is concerned with freedom at work. The aim of this thesis, is describe, analyse and evaluate the concept "Freedom at work" in three particular companies. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the theoretical basis, principles and methods related to this area. Data are largely based on the academic literature. The practical part represents best practices of liberal companies abroad. In this part selected companies Etnetera a.s., IReSoft, s.r.o. and Country Life, s.r.o. are presented. There is also analysis of democratic principles in these companies, survey, survey evaluation and formulation of recommendations. To achieve the goals of this work are used these methods: comparison of theory with practice, interviews with the members of the personnel department and the director, interviews with employees of liberal companies, analysis of internal documents and questionnaires. The acquisition of this work is a formulation of recommendations that emerged from the comments and suggestions of employees in the questionnaire survey.
Work conditions preferences of generation Y

Work preferences of generation Y, which will, in the next few years, constitute a significant proportion of the workforce on the labor market, differ noticeably from the preferences of the previous generation, generation X. The aim of this thesis is to provide information about generation Y and its work conditions preferences and to introduce the concept of work-life balance, as well as related alternative ways of working. Among these alternative ways of working belong flexible jobs or the principle of freedom at work, which offers the ability to work in more natural conditions. 3 Abstract Diploma thesis "Key competencies of employees of democratic organizations and their development" is focused on the so-called free organizations and their requirments for potential employees. It follows the characteristics of this concept and its context from the perspective of managing organizations. In the research the required soft skills of these organizations have been compared with the requirments of other organizations, using the analysis of their recruitment ads. It also identifies those soft skills, which are required significantly more by free organizations. Following this, the thesis also deals with the development of competencies, for example in preparation for potencial employment in a free organization. Management control systems and management style

The main concern of this master thesis is in the relation between management control systems and management style. In particular it is the management style called liberating leadership, which is characteristic for so called democratic companies, that is subject of the research. The main goal of this thesis is to examine whether it is possible to establish management control systems in such companies given the principles they are built on. Further question is whether and eventually how this management style should be reflected in management control system. The answer to the latter question is introduced using also the outcomes of survey conducted among the executives of companies that endorse the principles of democratic workplace.
Concept of freedom at work in company XYZ

This Bachelor´s Thesis is concerned with the modern concept of HR: freedom at work. It is a method of leadership, which promotes natural employees engagement. The aim of this thesis is describe, analyse and evaluate the concept. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the theoretical basis, procedures and methods related to this area. Data are predominantly based on the academic literature. The practical part represents examples of liberal companies from practice at home and abroad. There is also analysis of selected processes in the company XYZ, questionnaire, survey evaluation and formulation of recommendations. To achieve the goals of this work, are used these methods: comparison of theory with practise, interviews with employees of liberal companies, interviews with the members of the personnel department and the HR director, analysis of internal documents and questionnaire. The acquisition of this work is description of the procedure, how this concept or part of it use in company XYZ. This procedure is described in the conclusion.
New approaches to the Management of Human Resources – Freedom at Work

The Bachelor`s thesis deals with the topic of freedom at work. The main goal is to prove if the Czech Republic is prepared for the concept Freedom at Work and if the employees in these companies are satisfied. In theoretical part there is explained the importance of freedom for the people, the idea of freedom at work and its history. Besides that there are introduced companies, which represent this idea abroad. The practical part analyses Czech companies related to this concept and try to prove the satisfaction of the employees in one of the Czech educational freedom company named Scio. The result of the thesis is the evaluation of degree of freedom in the company and some suggestions to the future.
Evaluation of the concept "Freedom at Work" in selected companies

This bachelor thesis gathers existing knowledge about the concept of "Freedom at Work". It compares incorporation of this specific concept in companies' culture in the Czech Republic. Survey is studied on the sample of three companies. Application of the concept "freedom at work" is evaluated in each company against the theoretical basis of this concept. Application of the concept is also compared in the surveyed companies mutually.
