Work-life balance in a selected company

The bachelor thesis deals with the work-life balance in a selected company. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is theoretical, in which the issue of human resource management and the topic of work-life balance are approached. Furthermore, some legislative instruments and flexible work arrangements supporting work-life balance are described. The second part is the analytical part, which contains three case studies and the results of a questionnaire survey in a selected company. The last part is about suggested measures. It contains recommendations in the field of work-life balance based on the questionnaire survey. Following the implementation of these recommendations, the work-life balance of employees in the company should improve.

Diploma thesis is deal with the topic of work-life balance in the chosen company. The thesis is divided into three parts – theorethical, analytical and final part. The theorethical part explains atractivity and importance of this topic and describes individual approaches allowing work-life balance and concurrently indicate possible problems of different approaches from the perspective of the employer and the employees. The analytical part examines and evaluate the currect status of chosen company. In the final part are suggested measures based on theoretical knowledge and findings which should lead to a better balance between work and personal lives of employees in a chosen company.
The Proposal of Effective Work-life Balance in Selected Company

The aim of thesis is a proposal how to improve a work-life balance at the city council and identify the most common problems the company and people are dealing with. The main highlighted benefit are factual results of research – data from real respondents – employees working hours and the analysis of the real benefits for the company which are used as a base for the real proposal of the implementation.

This master's thesis explores the possibilities of flexible forms of work in the field of healthcare. It includes a literature review focused on flexible forms of work, human resource management, the labour market, digitization, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on human resource management. The study conducted quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire and qualitative research through semistructured interviews with representatives of selected organizations responsible for human resource management. The findings of both inquiries were appropriately analysed, leading to the formulation of relevant recommendations.

The dissertation introduces the results of the current knowledge of professional li-terature in the field of managerial communication in small and medium-sized enter-prises when introducing flexible working arangement, it also maps the situation in the investigated area in the South Bohemia in 2018-2019 and provides educational mate-rials intended for training managers and HR professionals small and medium-sized enterprises that want to introduce flexible working arangements. These educational materials can be used by lecturers during workshops designed for small and middle-sized enterprises services and thus contribute to an increase in the number of jobs with flexibility, to the discovery of potential human resources not yet actively participating in the offer on the labor market, and last but not least, to the minimization of risks associated with unsystematic introduction flexible working conditions in companies.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of reconciling personal and professional life in relation to a specific company. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part deals with the theoretical background that describes the scientific knowledge in the field of reconciliation of personal and professional life and the processes that are associated with this reconciliation. The second part focuses on the introduction of the selected analysed enterprise and an overview of its economic situation. Furthermore, the section contains of results of the questionnaire survey to which the employees of the analysed enterprise were subjected. In the third part, suggestions are made based on results of the questionnaire survey. They are related to the area of work-life balance, after the application there could be achieved better balance between the personal and professional life of employees.

66 Abstract - Flexible forms of working hours This diploma thesis deals with the flexible forms of working hours and its goal is to describe this issue in intelligible and comprehensive way. It is being very interesting and current theme which is to a great extent not subject to direct legal regulations and provides its contracting parties with a big amount of freedom of contract. This fact assists in bigger flexibilization of labour market and represents a significant instrument in the fight against unemployment and economic crisis. This thesis is composed of six chapters. Chapter One introduces the term flexible forms of working hours and briefly describes the content of following chapters. Chapter Two delimits the area of labour law in relation to other branches of law and describes law principles relating to labour law. The following Chapter Three deals with legal regulations of working hours, its length, ways of allotment and international legal regulations. Chapter Four represents an introduction to the flexible forms of working hours. The diploma thesis with the name The Draft Implementation of Teleworking deals with the introduction of a methodology for implementation of tele-working in Czech company and with a creation of proposal for possible improvement of already established model work in the selected foreign company. It describes the important steps that should contribute to the successful establishment and functioning of the distant work, theoretical knowledge, legislation, benefits and limitations associated with distance work and the thesis also calculates the costs and savings belonged to the implementation of teleworking.

The aim of this study is to clarify out the correlation between the employment rate and use of part time employment for specific risk groups. The data was processed from the Eurostat database. Were established hypotheses on the existence or absence of a correlation between these variables. On the basis of the correlation coefficient, regression analysis and graphical representation of data has been proved relationship with parents taking care of minor children and also the elderly. The main finding is that increase use of part time employment has positive influence on employment rate in the group of parents looking after children and also in the group elderly persons.
