Reinforced concrete structure
Tesař, David ; Kraut, Jan (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the master‘s thesis is static and structural design of polyfunctional house. The load will be determined according to ČSN EN 1990. The finite element method will be used for the calculation of internal forces. The design will be dimensioned according to ČSN EN 1992. Text part, static calculation and shape and reinforcement drawings will form the output of this work.
Homologation testing of electric bicycle fork
Bejdák, Jan ; Suchý, Jan (referee) ; Hurník, Jakub (advisor)
Currently, the popularity and demand for e-bikes is growing rapidly. E-bikes entering the European market must meet a series of safety requirements included in the type-approval. This work deals with the prediction of the result of mechanical static testing of an e-bike fork according to the valid European standard. The prediction is formulated on the basis of FEM simulations of the mentioned tests and optical experimental measurements performed for the purpose of validating the simulations. The results of both approaches are compared and critically evaluated. The sample of the tested fork met the requirements set by the standard. Requirements for the prediction of a non-particulate test are set.
Evaluation of the remedial works in railway embankment
Vašina, Adam ; Závacký, Martin (referee) ; Štefaňák, Jan (advisor)
Project „Kolejové úpravy v žst. Žďár nad Sázavou“ contains remedial works of inconvenient railway embankment between Brno-Havlíčkův Brod. This document is about appraisal of remedial works in software Plaxis 2D and with summary of basic remedial works in railways in Czech Republic.
Design apparatus for measuring geometric accuracy of machine tools
Holcman, David ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor’s work deals with modern methods of geometric accuracy measurement of machine tools, modal analysis and definition of demands on used agents during the measurement process. A part of this work is dedicated to description of numerical finite element method, which is the cornerstone of ascertaining the natural frequencies by a software program. In the closing part the appropriate adjustments of minimisation of influence on measurement are suggested.
Design of the ROPS protective frame
Zimek, Rostislav ; Machálek, Jakub (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of the protective frame protecting occupants in rollover (ROPS). The creation of the calculation model, in order to perform a stress-strain analysis of the frame under the conditions of the homologation test. Execution modal analysis with the inclusion of the mass of the auxiliary device. A motion for a protective frame is designed so that it can be subjected to destructive test according to standards ČSN EN ISO 3471. The strength and modal analysis was carried out using the finite element method (FEM). The diploma thesis was conducted in cooperation with the company, the Tatra Truck a.s.
Parametric study of behavior of the structure of the wine cellar
Hajn, Jakub ; Janků, Hynek (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
In traditional wine village Bořetice recently occurred to serious disturbances on structures of wine cellars. These failures were caused by, among other things, changes in the properties of the rock environment. This work focuses on the implementation of parametric studies in terms of changing the properties of rock (soil) from the viewpoint of structural arrangement of the wine cellar.
Strength analysis and optimization of the two-way excavator MH Plus S cab
Zavadil, Milan ; Janich, Miroslav (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with stress analysis and optimization of two-way cab excavator MH Plus S with total weight of machine 19375 kg. Stress analysis has been performed using the finite element method (FEM). As next step the structure design of protective frame and strength analysis of the cab and protective frame, which protect crew when the machine is rolled over protective structure (ROPS) according to ČSN EN ISO 3471 standard, have been made. The design documentation is a part of diploma thesis. This diploma thesis was conducted in cooperation with the firm Agrotec a.s.
Analysis of concrete pipe using fracture-mechanical models
Bejček, Michal ; Šimonová, Hana (referee) ; Řoutil, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on plain concrete pipe analysis in consideration of design problems. The introduction describes concrete pipe including imposed standards. The next part contains a summary of the calculation methods used nowadays. The thesis explores whether the fracture-mechanical calculation is sufficiently apt and therefore can be applied for the pipeline design. A number of pipe profile models was constructed and analysed for this purpose. The calculation based on the finite element method with applied crack band model was executed by software ATENA 2D. The crushing strength, which is compared to real tests data, is determined in models with altered input figures. The thesis also studies the negative effects on carrying capacity including material degradation.
Using Calculix computing environment to solve problems of solid mechanics
Lukáš, Jan ; Lošák, Petr (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
Submitted bachelor thesis is focused on a solution of solid mechanics problems in a computing environment of the Calculix program. In the opening of the thesis there are briefly described theoretical foundations of finite element method. Subsequently there are analyzed particular parts of the program environment of Calculix. The main part of the thesis deals with solutions of three selected problems of solid mechanics. There are three different types of analyzes: static structural, modal dynamic and explicit dynamic. In the first assignment there is discovered deformation and stress in a fixed compressed squared timber. The second assignment deals with modal properties of the fixed squared timber. The last assignment discovers effect of loading velocity on the deformation of fixed compressed squared timber. In the conclusion there are briefly evaluated advantages and disadvantages of the Calculix program and there are compared solutions of the Calculix program and commercial program.
Optimization of Forged High Pressure Elements of Fuel Accumulator of Common Rail System
Klepetko, David ; Svída, David (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the optimization of forged high pressure elements of fuel accumu-lator of Common Rail System. The aim of this work is to assess the current state and design the individual high pressure elements in the CAD system. There is implemented strain and stress analysis in the FEM system Abaqus/CAE and in fatigue postprocessor FEMFAT for all designs. On the basis of this analysis are proposed optimized design solutions.
