The meaning and use of fictitious purchases.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the quality of the services provided in the selected sales unit by means of mystery shopping. The aim is to identify shortcomings and suggest possible solutions to them. The department store called PRIOR in České Budějovice was chosen for the work. A total of 24 mystery shoppings were made in October, November and December 2017.

Title: Mystery shopping in selected stores of specialized retail chain Hervis. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to introduce a specific method of market research called the Mystery shopping as a marketing tool that is useable in the field of sport retail. The main point of the thesis is to practically use the technique in selected stores of sport retail chain Hervis in the territory of capital city Prague and compare them to each other to identify proposals. Methods: To obtain data, which allows to identify proposals, was used special technique of market research called the Mystery shopping, which represents a combination of questionnaire and covert observation. Results of the observation were immediately filed in drawn up sheets. Results: The results of the research indicated many faults in mutual interaction between staff and customers, especially in the areas of sales skills, customer needs analysis and circumstances entering the retail shop. That is why there were made some measures in the synthetic part, that can lead to improvement in Customer Relationship Management. The aim of my thesis is to describe the condition and form of using Mystery shopping at Globus. Particulary the use of this method of research that captures the behavior, appearance, product expertise and actions our staff in contact with the customer, as a useful tool for obtaining informations about the weakness and strengths of our services, behavior our employees, the possibility of differentiation from competitors and also as a tool for development and employee motivation.

The aim of this thesis is to present and let understand a method of marketing research known as a Mystery Shopping, which is used to evaluate the customer service standards provided by the employees. Firstly, the Mystery Shopping is theoretically analyzed and described, then it is practically used. Practical part of this study concentrates to evaluate the customer service standards in selected Tesco retail stores.

The aim of this work is through a fictitious purchase ("Mystery shopping") to assess the quality of financial counseling, commercial banks provide free of charge at the counters of their branches. In order to carry out a proper research it was necessary to create a fictitious client with specific financial situation and future goals. As an outcome, the client should be provided with a plan comprehensively tackling his financial situation. Individual financial plans are evaluated according to predetermined parameters of quality. A comparison of completed financial plans with what the banks publicly present is included in the thesis.
