Family house
Kukulová, Magdalena ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (referee) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor´s thesis is to design family house, which is located in Červený Kostelec in the quiet area. It is a two-storey building with attached garage, which has one-storey. Both the building and the garage have a flat extensive roof. The main entrances of the house and the garage are situated to south. On the first floor there is a social zone of the house, consisting of living room connected to kitchen, guest room, toilet, storage, garage and utility room. On the second floor is a private area, consisting of master bedroom, two children‘s rooms, walk-in wardrobe, bathroom and toilet. The building is based on reinforced concrete foundation strips. The load-bearing walls are masonry designed from ceramic blocks with insulation inside. Horizontal load-bearing structures are made from ceramics and concrete. The heating and ventilation systems are designed to ensure the proper operation of the building. The house will be heated by underfloor heating, using an air-to-water heat pump. Air exchange in the building will be provided by a forced ventilation, mediating both the supply and exhaust of fresh air into the living spaces. Rainwater will be collected in an accumulation tank and subsequently utilized for garden irrigation. Excess water will be infiltrated into the ground on the property. The project also includes an energy performance certificate developed within the framework of the Energetika program. The building falls into the "A - exceptionally energy-efficient" category.
Community housing in Brno-Komín
Starý, Tadeáš ; Pekár, Pavel (referee) ; Novák, Antonín (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is an architectural study of a multifunctional building with predominant residential functions. The project builds on an urban study developed within the course NGA056 – Specialized Studio (ArA). The urban design consists of a complex of three multifunctional buildings, which emphasize not only suitable living conditions for community residents but also the feasibility of construction. The buildings, through their volumetric deformation, form two funnels allowing greenery to pass from Palacký Hill through the addressed area further into the existing panel housing development. Along Řezáčova Street, the existing garage facilities, which form an unsightly and neglected barrier in the area, are removed. In their place, a parking garage is created to replace the existing parking spaces and provide new ones for the residents of the complex and the housing estate. This step allows for the creation of public spaces instead of the existing parking areas between the panel buildings. In the architectural design, I work with the baugruppe construction principle, which allows individuals to collectively build and own apartments or houses. Participants share the construction costs, which can bring savings compared to traditional construction methods. Baugruppe projects include shared spaces and amenities accessible to all group members. The addressed buildings are four-story, partially basement, gallery-access houses oriented north-south. The staggered mass of the building is divided into three symmetrical parts and then supplemented with wedges to balance the building's stagger. Part of the ground floor is used for community or commercial spaces and partly for residential units with front gardens. The upper floors contain residential units. The side sections offer a combination of 4-room, 2-room, or 1-room apartments, while the central section offers 2-room apartments or four 1-room apartments. The configurations in these sections can be interchanged as needed. The architectural expression of the buildings is primarily provided by the distinctive horizontal lines of terraces/galleries with movable shading panels that encircle the entire building.
Autocentrum Volkswagen Group
Rosič, Jan ; Klement, Miloš (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the development of documentation for a building permit and part of the documentation for the construction of the Volkswagen Group car center building. The proposal is directly based on the assignment of the subject BGA021 – Studio of production buildings, and follows on from the studio project processed in the winter semester of the second year. The new building is located in the Brno-Komárov district, at the intersection of Hněvkovského and Sokolova streets, and its location makes use of a lucrative position. The car center building combines a service and showroom with an administrative part. With its internal arrangement, it effectively separates these two different operations so that they do not interfere with each other and at the same time they can cooperate. Exterior, on the other hand, tries to connect these operations into a seamless whole. This is to be achieved by the repetitive verticality freely transitioning from the shading system of the showroom to the copilite glazing of the service. The internal layout of both parts of the building is designed taking into account the rapid development of the automotive industry and is maximally flexible. The showroom is intended as a monumental elevated space with an exposed roof structure and a minimum of fixed elements. The service is similarly designed as an open workshop area, only unclean or noisy operations and storage areas are separated.
Small and medium-sized business complex Pavlovice u Kojetína
Koudelková, Lucie ; Kříž, Aleš (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the development of an architecture study, project documentation for a building permit and project documentation for building construction. The proposal is directly based on the assignment of the subject BGA032 Studio of architectural design IV. in the winter semester of the third year. The subject of the study is the small and medium-sized business complex Pavlovice u Kojetína. It is the revitalization of the agricultural area. The project deals with the concept of the area with a central administrative building and rentable production halls, including transport solutions, parking and technical infrastructure. The project documentation of the bachelor's thesis is prepared for the central administrative object, which ensures the representative and administrative function, together with the necessary technical background for the entire complex. The conceptual solution is based on the idea of connecting the surrounding nature with the interior and at the same time reflecting it through the glass façade, a wooden slat façade and a wooden façade. A contrasting element is a part of the façade with exposed concrete design for a visually fluid connection to the production halls.
Kindergarten FUTURUM
Koudelka, Vojtěch ; Erben, Adam (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
The goal of this bachleor thesis was to create a modern nursery with the capacity of two classes for children of mainly preschool age. The nursery will be a part of the scholastic partnership in the Brno Masaryk district. The building on the southwest part of the area has a similar footprint to the already existing school. It consists of two floors. The facility is designed to complement the surroundings in terms of space and vista. The construction is visually similar to the present buildings in the area due to carefully chosen facades and colours. The terraces are constructed from three fields, one a little higher than the other, the buidling system is copying the terraces. A significant element of the facade is the brick porches created from plaster and slanting console. They define an entrace to the building. The structural wall system consists of a masonry unit and cast-in-place concrete. The roof of the construction is formed by prestressed slabs. Furthermore, children need a large enough grassy area to play outside, and so, to compensate for all lost parts of the terrain, there will be an eco-friendly roof. The replacement of buited-up surface of grass made by a green roof is a reaction of heavily tree fitted part of the city.
THE DESIGN AND OPTIMALIZATION OF SELECTED CONSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSESS OF SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY CONSTRUCTION OF THE VEGETATIVE ROOF

On the second floor we can find four guest rooms with terrace and corridor. On the third floor we can find three guest rooms. Heating in the building is secured by gas condensing boilers. Ventilation is provided by two air condition units. Each guest room has radiators and cooling distribution units and ventilation. Cooling is secured by one cooling unit on the green roof. On the gable roof we can find 75 photovoltaic panels. Third part is focused on detailed solution of noise, vibration from the environment around building and spatial acoustics of guest room. The thesis is carried out in AutoCAD, Sketch up, Lumion and DEKSOFT software. All structures comply with the valid standards and regulation.
