The thesis deals with the organizational changes in connection with the use of subsidies from the European Union. It focuses on the changes and processes in civil society Organizations, these processes identifies and describes. It also examines which of them can lead to the successful functioning of the organization. Based on the theoretical assumption that in civil society organizations certain organizational changes occur as a result of subsidies from the EU. This assumption is based on findings from previous published studies and work. Presented theory are demonstrated on examples of good practice, using case study.

V ANGLICKÉM JAZYCE ABSTRACT: The work provides comprehensive information on the development and structure of financial support from the European Union and how to use schools and school facilities. The next section deals with the pitfalls with which schools and educational institutions face in the implementation of projects financed from the EU Structural Funds. The conclusion includes recommendations for managing authorities and suggestions for new topics in the training of managers of schools and school facilities.
Analysis of the Current Relationship of Civil society organizations and European Programmes in Prague

The aim of this diploma thesis is to map out the possibilities of Prague civil society organizations regarding the drawing of EU funds. In the search I focused on mapping of current European programs for the Prague civil society organizations (programs provided for the programming period 2007 - 2013). I will also present opportunities compared with those in the previous programming period 2004 - 2006. Part of the search are chapters dedicated to the financing of civil society and the transformation of their organizational structure. In the empirical part I focused my on selected civil society organizations that administrated project under the Operational Programme Prague - Adaptability. The aim of the research were through semi-structured interviews to determine how individual civil society organizations look at the whole process of administration of European projects, whether they were faced with some problems or have comments on how the whole process. When analyzing the interviews and documents I have also monitored whether the selected civil society organizations in connection with the drawing of EU funds somehow transformed their organizational structure is concerned. European funds and their usage for logistics projects in Czech Republic.

The thesis discusses the issue of freight villages and the possible usage of European funds for their construction. The topic is very actual because by the current program period 2014-2020 has appeared change concerning the financial support of multimodal freight transportation. The aim of this thesis is to determine, whether from the production companies operating in the automotive industry exists demand for such a freight villages. Needed information has been obtained on the basis of in-depths inteviews of manufacturing companies located in the region Vysočina.
Use of grants and their influence on the urban development of Domažlice

The aim of the thesis "Use of grants and their influence on the urban development of Domažlice" is to evaluate the use of EU funds for the urban development. The theoretical part reviews scientific literature focused on sources and methods of using European funds. In the practical part the selected projects realized by the town Domažlice illustrate how the town uses the opportunity to draw funding from the EU funds for the urban development and for improving the quality of life.
Strategic development of Tábor

The first part of the thesis proceeds mainly from specialized literature and presents the theoretical solution for other parts. The practical part was focused on the analysis of strategic plans of town Tabor development from theoretical knowledge gained point of view. I would assess the strategic plans of town Tabor development as positive. They are contribution to further development planning and enable to reach set goals and improve life conditions for the town citizens. The town is also successful in gaining subsidies and grants for which processing a strategic plan of development is crucial. Making use of financial means from European funds is a large contribution. Questionnaire research was placed to find out citizens´points of view of strategic developing documents.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá Evropskými Fondy a jejich roli při zmenšování rozdílů mezi chudšími a bohatšími regiony EU. Hlavním cílem práce je finanční analýza vybrané společnosti a navržení investičního projektu s důrazem na požadavky kladené na možnost čerpání dotací z evropských fondů. V práci jsou využity data poskytnuté společnosti, které jsou využity při tvorbě finanční analýzy, dále metody PESTL analýzy, Porterův pětifaktorový model, a SWOT analýza. Na závěr bude investiční projekt doporučen či zamítnut.

The topic of the diploma thesis Project Financing from EU Funds is the characteristics of the issue of raising funds for projects funded prom the EU. Theoretical part contains knowledge about project management and structural funds. The practical part includes prepare a feasibility study of the project. This project will be co-financed from EU Funds. In the end of the thesis is processed the whole procedure of submission the request.
