An Analysis of implementation of the European Social Fund initiative Equal Opportunities for Women and Men in the Labor Market and Reconciliation of Work and Family Life in the Region Vysočina

The topic of this thesis is the support of Equal Opportunities for women and men in the labor market and to reconcile work and family life, funded by the European Social Fund. The thesis consists of an introduction, a theoretical part, a practical part, a conclusion and appendices. In the theoretical part there are the first introduced policies of the European Social Fund for the period 2007 - 2013 and then their application in the Czech Republic, made up mainly of the Operational Programme Human Resources and Employment and just his area of support 3.4 Equal opportunities for women and men in the labor market and to reconcile work and family life. The issue of equal opportunities for women and men is also used in the context of EU and in the context of labor market in the Czech Republic. Custom research is designed in order to analyze the implementation of the above- mentioned areas of support, specifically in the region Vysočina on the basis of already approved projects, using quantitative and qualitative content analysis. At the request Those projects are discussed both negative and positive gender lens. It is therefore a real form of project applications that are approved and draw on the financial resources of the European Social Fund.
Employment and Personnel Development of Women

The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of women's employment, equal opportunities linked to it and developing women potencial. It provils definitions of basic concepts, legislative background, statistics, possible strategies and proposals leading to an improvement in equal opportunities and elimination of stereotypes. Furthermore, this work also includes informatik about specific activities of organizations promoting gender equality and the posibility of personal development for women. In the research part, there are directly specified activities of the organization Business and Professional Women CR, which seeks after econonomic independence of women. The last part is a surfy of how this issue is perceived by respodents, and what comments they have about it.
Sexual Harassment as an Obstacle of Equal Opportunities

Sexual harassment presents one of the key elements implicating gender inequalities on the labour market which is connected with other social and political mechanisms and thus directly affect possibilities to promote equal opportunities of women and men in society. The author focus on critical analysis of the phenomenon of sexual harassment in its broader context of institutionalized cultural value patterns which prevent women to participate as equal on the life of society. She supports her arguments by the empirical research realized by the Gender & sociology Department, Institute of sociology, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic which mapped occurrence of sexual harassment and its perception by individual actors at the working place in the Czech Republic.
