Assessment of Costs Associated with Heating a New Energy-Efficient House

This diploma thesis addresses the economic assessment of the methods of heating and combinations of technologies for energy saving. The objective of this work is to assess the economical effectiveness of individual types of sources of heating. It is first necessary to established gross requirements of energy for heating, water heating, and other household operations. Based on this information, suitable sources are determined. Alternative energy sources are other aspects for consideration – controlled ventilation with heat recovery, and photovoltaic cells. The aim of the thesis is to identify which combination of those technologies is the most economically effective for the opted house. This work aims to help the investor in decision making about the technological solution of heating and power purchase. The outcome is a complex evaluation of different options for the assessed house.

This thesis deals with a design of a passive family house in Hvozdec village near Veverská Bítýška. Main parts of the project are to be found in folder C, containing the drawings including six technical details, technical report with attached list of compounds, thermal assessment and list of components. The work also contains a study in folder B, which represents both initial versions of the project and stairway and foundation slab calculations. This thesis can be used as project documentation for actual building operation.

The aim of this thesis is the theoretical clarification of the issue of energy audit, thermal losses and energy audit. Bachelors thesis on the subjekt of energy audit is composed of several parts. In the first part the reader is familiar with the issue of energy audit. The thesis is describe what energy audit used, what does an energy audit consists. There is writte on, who is an energy auditor and what terms and conditions must be met to be able to devise an energy audit. Finally, there are described energy efficient buildings and energy label the building. The second part thesis deals with thermal envelope of the building. Thehe is described the composition of the walls envelope of the building and then overall heat loss the building calculate. The third part the thesis is describe the type sof installed electrical devices in the building. There is describe a type of elektricity meter and the main circuit broker. The last part the thesis is final evaluation. There are summary all possible adjustments in the building. Finally there are describe efficient solutions, where the investor use to the future.

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the preparedness of the municipalities of the Moštěnka micro-region to strengthen energy self-sufficiency. The main objective of this thesis is to find out to what extent the municipalities are currently equipped and what are the prerequisites for the transition to energy self-sufficiency. The theoretical part defines energy self-sufficiency and the conditions that it is necessary to meet for its realization. These are energy-efficient houses and use of renewables. Subsequently, research on the functioning of the energy sector in the Czech Republic is conducted. The analytical part consists of three main chapters, namely the natural conditions that are central to the use of renewable energy sources, the current state of buildings and energy infrastructure. Subsequently, a set of recommendations is included that municipalities can follow in the future to increase energy self-sufficiency.
