Vertical wood splitting machine
Zimek, Rostislav ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of wood splitting machines. Another task is to make a computational and design a splitting machine. During designing, I draw from the specified parameters, such as the clearance between the wedges 1150 mm, the log diameter 450 mm and the maximum splitting force of 160 kN. Another construction requirement is good machine mobility and vertical construction. Part of the bachelor thesis is a drawing of a splitting machine and a splitting frame together with a drawing of the support frame and the splitting wedge.
Motor test platform monitoring system
Klecker, Jan ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The content of this thesis is to design system for temperature measurement of critical parts of NXP electric engine testbench. In the theoretical part will be analysed temperature measurement by temperature sensors and its connecting to microcontroller. The practical part is focused on realization of device for temperature measurement. This device will be based on NXP microcontroller from Kinetis MKVxx family.
Horizontal grill
Horák, Vojtěch ; Krčma, Martin (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
This barchelor's thesis deals with the construction of a homemade horizontal piglet grill with an electric propulsion. The grill is designed for solid fuel in the form of timber or charcoal. It is proportioned for 50kg. The research part consists of a description of the main types of grills and their advantages and disadvantages. The constructive part deals with the solution of the constructional problemes, documented by calculations. This construction is considered to be made with lowest expenses. Part of this work is also a continuous photodocumentation, which captures the whole process of the construction progress. At the end of the thesis there is the estimation of production costs.
Use of solar energy for electromobility
Harant, Miroslav ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the use of solar energy for electromobility. First, the potential of electromobility on the current market is theoretically discussed. This issue includes mainly the producers of electrically powered vehicles, the issue of electric energy storage and the real applications of fast charging and photovoltaic charging stations. In the next part, electric cars are analyzed, which use solar energy for their function and their efficiency is compared with the effiency of combustion engines. The main part of this thesis is the design of photovoltaic charging station for electric vehicles. The final part deals with the economic evaluation of the proposed charging station.
Chain shifter for rail cars
Halásek, Dominik ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals about the design of a chain shifter for brick or ceramic production line. The theoretical part describes the basic characteristics of chain transmissions and their general using. The next part describes calculations of the chain drive. The design of the shifter is processed regarding to realizing the assignment and the good functionality of the device. The output of the thesis is a technical report describing the design theory and calculations. The drawings of the main assemblies of the device are attached.
Conceptual design of the conversion of an electric motorcycle
Roman, David ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Böhm, Michael (advisor)
The work is about the study of the current offer of electric motorcycles, individual structural elements, and the concept of using an electric motor and battery. Furthermore, the work compares the operating costs of conventional internal combustion engines and electric motors. The main part of the work is the calculation of the battery capacity for the motorcycle, which is converted from a conventional internal combustion engine to an electric motor and the selection of a suitable engine and battery storage concept, so that the dynamics of the motorcycle is not significantly affected.
Aircraft design for the installation of a hybrid powerplant
Kapoun, Tomáš ; Bencalík, Karol (referee) ; Píštěk, Antonín (advisor)
The master‘s thesis "Aircraft design for the installation of a hybrid powerplant" is focused on the design of the airplane suitable for hybrid powerplant. At the same time it is also deal with the most suitable location of the components necessary for this powerplant. These components are: a combustion engine, electric motor, gearbox and bed engine. Part of the master thesis is application-mount designed components: location and number of containers with batteries, a proposal for a new engine bed suitable for a hybrid powerplant. In the sub - section of the thesis is made a simple calculation of the economic return on investment from the perspective of the end-user aircraft with a hybrid powerplant.
Design of electric tackle
Hovádek, Pavel ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
Bachelor’s labour id concerned about design and construction electrical TACKLE with hand carriage travel. It contains retrieval part of present knowledge, multiple choice selection and mathematical calculation. Work also contains project drawings.
Use of solar energy for electromobility
Harant, Miroslav ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Marušinec, Jaromír (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the use of solar energy for electromobility. First, the potential of electromobility on the current market is theoretically discussed. This issue includes mainly the producers of electrically powered vehicles, the issue of electric energy storage and the real applications of fast charging and photovoltaic charging stations. The second part of the diploma thesis deals with the measurement of electric car consumption and the evaluation of measurement results. In the next part, electric cars are analyzed, which use solar energy for their function and their efficiency is compared with the effiency of combustion engines. The main part of this thesis is the design of photovoltaic charging station for electric vehicles. The final part deals with the economic evaluation of the proposed charging station.
Conception of a mobile splitter for wood with hydraulic drive
Změlík, Josef ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is in the first part to evaluate basic characteristics of materials used for splitting – mainly wood. In the next part of this thesis there is focus on the availability of splitting machines on the market. Evaluation of their design and characteristics of those machines, their advantages and disadvantages. In the last part of the work I propose a new design of a splitting machine and make a model in 3D modeler Autodesk Inventor Professional 2019. For the proposed frame and all the other components of the splitting machine it was necessary to know those basic parameters like: maximal size of the wood used for splitting, maximal splitting power and required hydraulic engine extension. The documentation used for the assembling the machine was made in 2D programme Autodesk AutoCAD 2018. To this bachelor thesis there is also attached a documentation on how to assemble the wood splitting machine, documentation of welded frame, pedestal and a hydraulic scheme. In the work there are also included strengths calculations of the main parts of the splitting machine, analytically and with simulations in a programme NX I-deas 6.1.
