Musical multi effects analysis
Masár, Igor ; Kubásek, Radek (referee) ; Friedl, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with guitar effect and guitar sound in general. Most widely used effects are described as well as their output time courses are simulated. There is a comparison of analog and digital effects. There is also explained the principal of guitar multiefects, described all parts of guitar efect chain and determined key parameters, which has the main impact on quality of final sound. It is used to describe a methodology for measuring multi-effects and the results obtained by this measurement. The last part deals with psychoacoustic measurements.
Acoustic properties of road markings
Drnovský, Ondřej ; Caudr, Michal (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals with verifying the acoustic properties of road markings in real conditions the vehicle travels. It contains basic information about the acoustics of the sources of traffic noise and methods of measuring noise. Below are the main information about the horizontal signposts and its impact on safety. The practical part contains descriptions of results, estimation of measurement and subsequently implemented economic assessment.
Effect of subcontractors on the price of the works
Tulpa, Michal ; Comorek,, Martin (referee) ; Marková, Leonora (advisor)
This thesis deals with the effect of subcontractors on the price of the works. This work describes the influence and where the phases of the project occurs. Furthermore, the influence analyzed and designed a process of elimination.
Granular Synthesis in Music Production
Software Multi-Effect for Post-Production of Pop Music
Trkal, Tomáš ; Glembek, Ondřej (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design and implementation of complex software system for post-production of popular music. The system was implemented as a plug-in module in C++ language using JUCE application framework. The emphasis was on creating a well arranged and intuitive graphic user interface. The plug-in provides a set of audio effects and processors that can be connected into the desired graph structure. For less experienced users, there is a database of preset configurations usable for a variety of input signals.
Brick Dust Arising During Grinding of Burnt Brickwork and Possibilities of its Utilization
Kocmánek, Tomáš ; Sokolář, Radomír (referee) ; Nevřivová, Lenka (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the brick dust arising during grinding of burnt brickwork and the possibilities of its utilization. In the theoretical part origin and basic properties of brick dust is described. Some published results of research on the potential utilization of brick dust in various industries are presented here. Also proposal of utilization of brick dust in the ceramic industry is presented. In the practical part two ceramic raw materials and the two brick dust with different granulometry arising during grinding of burnt brickwork (made from these two ceramic raw materials) were selected. The effect of the addition of brick dust to the ceramic raw materials on the physical - mechanical properties of ceramic body after sintering was investigated.
Earth´s shape and its atmosphere effects on operation of navigation aids
Korbel, Martin ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Vosecký, Slavomír (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to explore and describe the effects and consequences of the Earth’s shape and its atmosphere on land and on-board radio equipment used in aviation. This thesis contains the description of these influences affecting the whole spectrum of electromagnetic waves used in aviation communication, navigation and air traffic control. It also explains specific forms of effects of the Earth’s shape and its atmosphere on individual devices, which are most commonly used in civil air navigation.
Application for the Camera Image Editing for Android
Bělehrádek, Stanislav ; Szentandrási, István (referee) ; Behúň, Kamil (advisor)
In this thesis I dealt with creation of application for editing image from camera. Apliacation is for operating system Android. Aim was to study possibilities of image editing and of creating applications for platform Android. And next aim was to use discovered informations to develop application. Problem was solved by creating of framework for platform Android for image editing. This framework was used for develope application. Framework provides visual components useful for creation application GUI. Created application provides extra feature to create a custom effect by composition of filters from OpenCV library. Output is Android application and poster demonstrating the application. Next output is framework making development of applications for image editing easier. Framework contains also documentation with description of framework and instructions for use.
TRY ME!
Kopecká, Johana ; Jiroušková, Veronika Velčovská (referee) ; Tobola, Ondřej (advisor)
My bachelor project entitled "Try Me" is based on the concepts of aesthetics versus function. The project aims to create a product based on a textile material study. My emphasis is on the interplay between the functional and aesthetic aspects of the final product.
Localization of a Moving Target using a MIMO Radar System
Šulc, Martin ; Vychodil, Petr (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to estimate parameters of the moving target using different radar configurations. First the Doppler effect and the time delay of the received signal is examined. The investigation of these phenomenons is made for radial and non-radial movement of simple monostatic radar configuration and after that for the bistatic and multistatic MIMO configuration. The ambiguity function is presented for all these configurations. The ambiguity function is then used to estimate target parameters from the received signal. The received signal model and ambiguity function for the monostatic radar configuration is developed using Matlab software. Finally the practical use of these implementations is presented and compared.
