The Evaluation of the Investment Project

The subject of the diploma thesis is the evaluation of a selected investment project of the company. The first part defines the theoretical basis, which describes the investments, financial analysis, investment evaluation methods, and risks, which form the basis for the processing of the analytical part. The second part deals with the basic financial analysis of the company in order to evaluate the financial condition of the company. Furthermore, the investment project itself is evaluated, where also risks are determined, from the perspective of cash flows and the implementation of the project. Finally, based on the performed analyses, the investment opportunity and its weaknesses are comprehensively evaluated, through which is recommended the implementation or rejection of the investment plan.

Rozhodování podniku o realizaci investice

This bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of conditions for the realization of an investment in a photogrammetric scanner for a selected company. The main aim of the thesis is to assess whether the investment is economically worthwhile for the enterprise or not. In order to achieve the stated objective, it is necessary to first determine the method of financing the investment, estimate the development of revenues and operating costs and predict the cash flows resulting from the investment project. On the basis of the obtained data, the economic efficiency of the investment is evaluated using dynamic methods.

Fajtová A, Evaluation of the economic efficiency of the investment plan in agricultural cooperative PALOMO a.s. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2017. The thesis is focused on the evaluation of the economic efficiency of the investment plan for the restoration of the milking device using selected static and dynamic methods. From dynamic methods were used net present value, internal rate of return, payback period and profitability index for which the investment is evaluated as acceptable. Through the sensitivity analysis is determined the significance of individual risk factors. As the most risk factor was evaluated the evaluation of the purchase price of the milk, the development and current situation of the price of the milk were analysed in more detail.

The work is focused on the evaluation of the efficiency of the mechanical investment in the selected company. The effectiveness of the investment is comprehensively assessed using non-monetary criteria and subsequently monetary criteria. Selected static and dynamic methods were used. The sensitivity analysis point out the greatest risks that may threaten the investment. The main findings of the work are a reasoned recommendation on whether to implement this investment or not.

The evaluation of the investment of opening a new store in a franchize retail network

The goal of this diploma thesis is to assess the economic efficiency of the investment consisting in the opening of the new franchise retail network stores, specially Tesco Franchise Stores CR s.r.o. The thesis consists of two main parts - the theoretical part and the analytical part. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts which are related to the investment activities and the methods used to evaluate the investment plans. The ending part of the thesis describes the retail environment and the principles of franchising. The beginning of the analytical parts deals with the strategic analysis and description of the franchise model of the company Tesco Franchise Stores CR s.r.o. In addition, the analytical part focus on a specific investment plan, which is further specified and predicts the expected revenues and costs based and the information obtained from strategic analysis and the financial statements of the company. The end of the analytical part deals with the evaluation of the investment plan using dynamic methods.

Bachelor thesis deals with the identification and evaluation of risks arising from investments in newly opened branch of the hair salon. The Bachelor thesis is divi-ded into two main parts - a literature review and an own work. In the literature review there are described basic terms, methods of assessment of investment and risks of investment project. Own work deals with evaluation of investments based on selected methods, strategic analysis of enterprise and subsequent identification of risks. Elimination of the risks is discussed in the chapter Proposals and Recommendations. Interpretation of the results is summarized in the chapter Discussion of results with subsequent valuations of investments on the basis of proposals and recommendations that result in possible additional costs and income received from investments.

Práce se zabývá analýzou ekonomické efektivnosti investice do výroby elektrické energie spalováním bioplynu. V teoretické části popisuje problematiku investičního rozhodování v podniku. Dále se zabývá metodami hodnocení efektivnosti investic. V praktické části se věnuje vyhodnocení investice do výstavby bioplynové stanice. Zaměřuje se na vliv struktury financování investice na čistou současnou hodnotu a návratnost investice. Pozornost je věnována citlivosti investice na změnu v nákladech a výnosech.

Evaluation of the investment project of photovoltaic power plant

This thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter defines the objective of the work. The second section summarizes the theoretical and methodological part. Theoretical and methodological part deals with analysis of the area, preparation and implementation of the project, methods of evaluating investment and defines a project risk. The third part is the part of the application. It is about putting theoretical knowledge into practise. The third chapter contains an analysis of the area, description of the company, economic valuation and asessment of investment risk.
