New-Built Detached House, Javorníček

The topic of this Bachelor´s thesis is new-built detached house in Javorníček, part of the village Libecina.The detached house is composed of three floors and is intended to be duplex house. Object is situated in steep terrain in which is partly embedded. The ground floor is designed by using concrete masonry units, first and second floors are designed by using ceramic masonry units. The roof is designed in a shed style, and is connected to the vertical construction. Heating of the object is provided by combination of warm air heating and hydronic underfloor heating system.

This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the project documentation for the realization of a two-generation wooden building of a family house. The solved structure is located in the Brno-Jih district, the cadastral area of Dolní Heršpice. The family house is designed as a semi-detached house with a saddle roof, which is connected by communicative area with a north-facing entrance. The building has two above-ground floors, non-cellar and is intended for permanent living of two families. The structural design of the building is frame-covered with Fermacell gypsum fiber boards.

The subject of this thesis is the design of a two-generation family house with an establishment. The building is located in Tábor in the cadastral area of Čekanice u Tábora. The building is a two-storey with a partly basement, from a masonry construction system made of sand-lime shaped pieces and in the underground part made of permanent formwork. The roof is from a wooden truss system consisting of 3 saddle roofs and one separate gable roof. Ceiling construction, staircase construction and girders are made from prefabricated components. It consists 2 main ships, connecting part and facilities for the establishment. The yoga room is suitable for people with reduced mobility. There are 2 dwelling units in the building.
Addressing structural inequality through education access

Elizabeth Davey Public and Social Policy Master's Thesis Abstract Education has long been perceived to be the key to positive social mobility, but mounting evidence has shown that for many low-income students this may be more of a myth than reality. The Achievement Gap between students of different socio-economic and racial groups remains persistently difficult to eliminate despite decades of efforts geared at school reforms. Recognizing the importance of developing more equitable funding allocation for public education institutions, as well as the general consensus that such a policy is an essential step toward increasing equity in the education system, this paper looks at addressing the problem through a different lens. This thesis develops an index of how cross generational relationships and circumstances play into a child's academic access, and as a result, their academic outcomes. Using this index, this thesis adds to the body of knowledge on the topic and a new perspective to the discourse surrounding equity in education, and educational outcomes by considering how Two-Generation interventions can address these intersections. Multi-generational house Paskov

The subject of the submitted bachelor’s thesis was the elaboration of project documentation for the construction of a multi-generational house. The building is located in the town of Paskov, district Frýdek - Místek, cadastral area Paskov. The building is designed as a detached two-storey building with a partial basement on flat ground. There are two residential units for a total of six people. The building also includes a garage with two parking spaces. There are also three additional unroofed parking spaces on the property. The entrance to the house is situated on the east side. Most of the living rooms have been placed on the south and west sides. As a structural system, ceramic masonry of the Porotherm type was chosen, which is used in the above-ground floors as well as load-bearing and non-load-bearing interior walls throughout the building. The perimeter walls in the basement are made of monolithic reinforced concrete walls. Horizontal load-bearing structures are made on each floor with ceramic beams and inserts. The staircase is monolithic reinforced concrete. The perimeter walls are insulated above ground level using mineral wool. The whole building is roofed with a single-skin flat roof.
