Title: Marketing Strategies of Czech Football Clubs: Targeting Fans through Match Programs Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to present recommendations to increase the level of fan experience on match day with regard to the objectives of marketing teams in reaching their defined segments of people. The thesis offers a cross- comparison through interviews with high-level marketers of selected first league participants of the highest Czech football competition, complemented by direct observation and data analysis, focusing on the essence and justification of the individual steps implemented by the clubs in the matchday programme in relation to their strategic targeting. Methods: The thesis uses a qualitative research approach with selected professional football clubs in the top Czech football competition, specifically in-depth semi-structured interviews with high-level marketing staff, focusing on their perceptions, experiences and decision-making processes in the field of marketing, together with the essence and justification of the individual steps they implement. Current Trends in Arts Marketing: Example of National Theatre

This thesis reviews current theory and practice of audience development. It examines the effectiveness of audience development and ways of embedding it into marketing theory. The analytical part of this thesis presents how three theatre institutions employ audience development - the National Theatre, Na Zábradlí Theatre, and A Studio Rubín - as viewed by their respective marketing experts. It further analyses audiences' responses to special events, the most common format of audience development. It discusses the specifics of arts marketing, with a special focus on theatre marketing, and aim to define differences in marketing strategies between institutions of different status, financial structure, and size. In addition to discussing current and previous trends in audience development in the Czech Republic and abroad, it provides an overview of the theoretical debate on the topic. The thesis then presents field research into audience engagement activities from the perspective of their creators, but also examine how they are received by audiences, including how they affect theatres' public image and customer behaviour.
The Ostrava Museum Night celebrates its 10th anniversary in the First Republic style

The Ostrava Museum Night will take place on Saturday, June 9th, for the tenth time. From five o'clock to midnight, Ostrava will revive a cultural festival that extends awareness of cultural life in the city. This year, 36 institutions will present their facilities, and entry is no longer the case. As part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Republic, the festival will revive the ride of veterans and velocipedists, as well as the cabaret and swing program. It will be launched by discharging the balloons in the tricolor color. From 17.30 they will be given free of charge in front of the New Town Hall in Ostrava.

Thirty-six cultural institutions in Ostrava welcomed the public free of charge on Saturday. From 18 o'clock until midnight, the streets of the city filled the crowds of adults and families with children. Ostrava's Museum Night in Ostrava was not missed by some 25,000 people. The tenth year of the Ostrava Museum Night can be described as a successful, first-republic program, good mood, laughter and ubiquitous children with tricolor balloons reviving the regional metropolis.

Proposal for improving the game day experience in the ELH based on the NHL

Title: Proposal for improving the game day experience in the ELH based on the NHL Objectives: The main goal of the diploma thesis is to suggest the program arrangement of the game day for the visitors of the Czech hockey league. The thesis targets on new features appropriate for the Czech environment but also for the improvement of the current ones. Another goal of the thesis is to describe the attitude of the game day management teams to the accompanying program in ELH and NHL which represent the image of the league itself. Methods: The main sources for collecting the data are as the following: a structured observation and in-depth interviews. All of the information is collected based on the questions created for the purpose of the thesis. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on the literature sources and the consultations with experts in the field of the Czech and Canadian-American icehockey. Results: The main result of the diploma thesis is the suggestion for the improvement of the gameday program of the club HC Sparta Praha. The suggestion was prepared based on the analysis using the methods stated above. The suggestion includes elements usable in front of the arena before the game starts.
