The impact on the european automotive industry by the free trade agreement between the European Union and Japan

The European Union is negotiating a free trade agreement with Japan since 2013. The subject of this diploma theses is to analyze how this agreement can influence either automotive industry. In order to understand the agreements possible influence, classical, neoclassical, contemporary and alternative theories of international trade and international trade policies are being examined. It is then analyzed what the agreement aims to accomplish in context of the Japanese macroeconomic, the history of trade relations and development, the current trade situation, production and demand on both markets. Finally, the agreement is compared to an existing agreement with Republic of Korea which is in a similar scenario. The result is that an increase of luxury cars being imported by each side is the most likely outcome.
The importance of free trade agreements for Australia

This bachelor thesis aims to introduce the Australian economy. However, the main goal is to analyze selected Australian free trade agreements with certain states and show their impact on these countries. The thesis itself is divided into four chapters. The first chapter defines the Australian economy. The second chapter is about the Australia New Zealand Closer Economic Relations Trade Agreement. The third chapter is about the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement. The last fourth chapter focuses on the Australia-United States Free Trade Agreement.
EU agreements with South Korea and Japan and their impact on the European market

Master's thesis "EU agreements with South Korea and Japan and their impact on the European market" analyzes the impact of trade agreements between the European Union and South Korea and Japan on the EU industrial competitiveness. The impact is evaluated in terms of the development of trade flows with chemical, food, textile and automotive products and also in terms of the existence and reduction of non-tariff barriers. The study also includes trade balances developments between the respective countries. The results of the analysis showcase the overall positive impact of the agreement with South Korea on the EU industrial competitiveness and predict the impact of the agreement with Japan.
NAFTA in the early 21st century

The work deals with the agreement NAFTA. The first chapter provides an overview of the formation of NAFTA, its fields of competence, side agreements and institutional structure. The second chapter focuses on the benefits and problems that NAFTA has brought in praxis. The third chapter deals with negotiations on the FTAA and the reasons for their failure to date.
New regionalism in external Canadian relatioships

The aim of my thesis is to analyze development as well as current level of Canadian foreign trade in goods and to compare this level with the number of trade agreements concluded between Canada and other countries. The second issue I considered in my thesis is whether Canada decreases its dependancy on the USA and if so, what are the countries Canada tends to trade with.
