Involvement of Ukrainian pupils to primary school teaching

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the involvement of Ukrainian pupils of the first level of primary school in the educational system of Czech schools. The thesis focuses mainly on pupils who come to Czech primary schools because of the Russian-Ukrainian war conflict. The aim of the thesis is to identify the situations and ways in which these pupils engage in education and then to analyze the factors that influence their engagement. The theoretical section introduces the reader to the basic theoretical background. The first chapters are devoted to defining key terms and current legislation related to the education of Ukrainian pupils. The following chapters describe the process that pupils from Ukraine go through when they are enrolled in education. The theoretical part of the thesis concludes with a chapter exploring the possibilities of supporting Ukrainian pupils arising from the relevant legislation. The practical part of the thesis is based on a multiple case study of four selected primary schools, which aims to describe the situations and ways in which pupils from Ukraine are involved in education in the selected schools. Development of children's communication skills with different Mother Tongues in pre-school education

This bachelor thesis focuses on analyzing methods of speech development skills of kids with different mother languages in preschool education. Main goal of this thesis is to get knowledge applicable in work with kids with different mother language and in developing their communication skills. Theoretical part is based on information from proffesional literature, current legislation and electronic information sources which desrcibe definitions of terms communication, speech and language, ontogenesis of child's speech till preschool age and specifics of bilingual child's speech development. In this thesis is also a describtion of Czech preschool education system and it is focused on a group of kids with different mother languages. The empiric part is processed in the form of qualitative research. The case study desrcibes development of communication skills of three kids with different mother language and the methods that are used.
