The first Přemyslids in didactic applications
Hošek, Tomáš ; Mikeska, Tomáš (advisor) ; Parkan, František (referee)
(English) The theme of this thesis is to present the time and life of the first Premyslids and to create didactic material for teaching. The didactic material is designed, created and dedicated to teachers of history and history and all students. The work is divided into two parts. The second, practical part, called History at Play, is devoted to didactics and practical activities that will be used in teaching 4th and 7th grade primary school. The research and devising of didactic applications included, in addition to studying the literature, comparing textbook texts, attending listening sessions, consulting with colleagues and carrying out teaching practice. This process included the creation of the author's teaching cards as well as games and their practical testing during the author's teaching practice. This thesis includes the presentation of two basic games (2 variants of the first game and one variant of the second game) and other examples of activities that can be used...
Multi-source Text Summarization for Czech
Brus, Tomáš ; Bojar, Ondřej (advisor) ; Mareček, David (referee)
This work focuses on the summarization task for a set of articles on the same topic. It discusses several possible ways of summarizations and ways to assess their final quality. The implementation of the described algorithms and their application to selected texts constitutes a part of this work. The input texts come from several Czech news servers and they are represented as deep syntactic trees (the so called tectogrammatical layer).

Medieval games in the eyes of children in the 21st century
FEJTKOVÁ, Ludmila
The diploma thesis deals with the approach of today's elementary school pupils to medieval games. The theoretical part of the thesis characterizes the period of the Middle Ages and the representation of the game in the life of medieval people. It is about the importance of the game, the most famous classification of games are described and the play is described in the school-age pupils. The practical part of the thesis presents the course and results of the research aimed at determining the familiarity of students of school age with medieval games. Partial goals were to analyze the representation of medieval games in the school-age pupils' life and to determine how these pupils look at medieval games, even in the context of today's games. The research file consisted of 282 pupils of the 4th and 7th grades of elementary school. Three research assumptions have been formulated and verified by chi-quadrate. The results found point to the importance of medieval games in the lives of today's children, and the research concept itself offers suggestions for pedagogical activities in the context of the education of primary school pupils, in which the game has an irreplaceable role.
Nonstandard dice sets
Chybová, Lucie ; Slavík, Antonín (advisor) ; Hlubinka, Daniel (referee)
The bachelor thesis discusses selected types of nonstandard dice sets with surprising and, in some cases, paradoxical properties. These dice are used in various gambling games, but they are also interesting from a purely theoretical perspective. The thesis focuses, one after another, on nontransitive, Lake Wobegon and Sicherman dice sets. When studying their properties, it mainly uses elementary probability theory and theory of cyclotomic polynomials. All the terms and results are demonstrated on examples.
