Attribute Analysis of Charts Used for Data Presentation Using Information Dashboards
Barič, Filip ; Rudnitckaia, Julia (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is related to the issue of diagrams used for data presentation in informational dashboards. The thesis also explains the process of creating dashboards, basic design principles and the area of human perception. Analysis of each individual diagram, together with their pros and cons and possibilities of use is introduced as well. The primary objective is the research of visual properties and their impact on final usability. Test set was created using the implemented graph generator, working with defined model which describes selected properties of diagrams. As the output of this thesis, a set of recommendations suitable for design of selected diagrams is defined.

Next, it describes design of an Oracle database monitoring tool, describtion of its implementation and at the end its evaluation and comparison with other similar applications.
Code Generation from UML Activity Diagrams
Gajarský, Pavol ; Richta, Karel (advisor) ; Strnad, Pavel (referee)
Code generation from UML is still very limited. Diagrams, which are usually used for code generation describes the static structure. These are mostly the class diagrams. One of the most useful and least used types of diagrams is behavioral diagrams. The reason for this is mainly a lack of support from the UML specification. The onset of version 2.0 has brought visible changes in this area. This thesis will focus only on activity diagrams and possibilities of code generation from them. One of them will be verified on a prototype tool that can generate skeleton of code in chosen language (e.g. Java, C + +, PHP ,...). Then it will be compared to alternative approaches and evaluated in terms of its advantages and disadvantages. As input is expected activity diagram created and exported by external CASE tool in XMI format. Architecture of tool will provide possibility of defining new modules. So the end user will be able to program another output language by the medium of given interface.

Bachelor´s thesis deals with problematic of heat treatment and influence of carbon on properties of iron alloys. The beginning of the work describes the production process, input materials and equipment for the production of pig iron, cast iron and steel. There are also described elements influencing properties of steels, definition and distribution of cast iron and steel. The thesis deals with heat treatment and its types. In the thesis thereis also described diagram iron-iron carbide (Fe-Fe3C) and its individual structural phases. The next part of the thesis deals with problematic of transformaci on diagrams. Object-oriented analysis and design of an experimental auction portal
HEJPLÍK, Václav
The main topic of the present work was to analyze the course of the auction on the Internet auction portal and to design how the system should be evolved. The theoretical part was focused on the description of the conduction of an auction, auction rules and language for object-oriented programming. Moreover, the creation of United Modeling Language (UML) and its components has been reported. The practical part was focused on the analysis and design of the experimental auction portal. The modules and diagrams, which are important for the development system, has been described with presentation of procedures for working users and system administrators. The UML 2.0 and MSSQL database system was used for analysis and for the design the diagrams. The actual auction portal was created by using Visual Studio, 2012.
