Design of heating system for multifunctional building

The Bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical part, the computational part and the project. Theoretical part consists of the basic description and the division of the fittings in a heating. In the computational part, I deal with heating proposal and a hot water preparation in the building of a multifunctional house st. Anny, located in Brno. The building has a four floors and the basement, commercial space, garages and apartments. The building designed with the gas condensing boiler and the indirect heating tank for domestic hot water use, the heating of the building is supplied the by plate and tube radiators. The project contains technical report and drawing documentation.

Advanced network device scanner

The master thesis focuses on problem of identifying device types on a local network. The work explores current methods for device recognition on local networks and examines a survey of open-source tools capable of identifying these devices or gathering additional supplementary information. The discovered tools are compared based on several criteria. Furthermore, a laboratory environment is created for testing the identified tools as well as for testing own implementation. Subsequently, this thesis presents a proposal for the own implementation of a device identification method and the retrieval of advanced information about these devices. The main part of the work focuses on describing several possible methods of device identification, including practical examples. Scripting of the practical examples is implemented in Python or through the command line. Based on the outlined approaches, the thesis presents a list of all recognized devices from the experimental setup. Finally, the methods are compared in terms of network utilization during scanning.

Teacher's evaluation as a manager skill

An Abstract: Evaluation is a crucial part of every human activity and every qualified school teacher knows that it is not possible to do the work without evaluating activities. That's why the teacher's evaluation becomes a necessary, meaningful and obvious part of the educational process. It belongs to the most difficult teaching activities. The target of my bachelor's work is to find out teachers' attitudes and practical experiences with evaluation. In a detailed analysis I tried to show the extensive and wide range that the ability contents. The meaning of my work is to describe and analyse all the evaluating activities on the basis of a qualitative research using a method of an interview. I tried to find out in which different professional contents nursery school teachers and manager school teachers do their evaluating activities. The work is divided in a theoretical and a practical part. The fisrt part is a summary of evaluation theoretical knowledge based on a study of technical literature. In the bachelor's work there are described processes of teacher's evaluating activities. In the practical part there are mentioned the results of the research which was carried out by a method of an interview with three nursery school and basic school teachers. Application for remote control of devices in smart home

The thesis analyzes current home automation trend with a brief historical context. It presents conception of Apple company and its platform iOS from the beginning of development to actual state. The thesis shortly compares differences between programming language Objective-C and a new language Swift. It describes emerging framework HomeKit which was created to control smart appliances at homes. In practical part of the thesis there is designed mobile application running iOS platform that controls real smart devices at homes with HomeKit framework. Application is created in Swift programming language and is inserted as a component of this thesis.
