Untersuchung des Einsatzes von Augmented-Reality-Techniken auf die Arbeitsprozesse in der Konstruktion
Holešovský, Jiří ; Klimant, Philipp (referee) ; Schumann, Marco (referee) ; Hirsch, Andreas (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
Increasing the productivity of the design process
Chaloupka, Michal ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the topic of increasing the productivity of the design process in a competitive environment. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part is devoted to the explanation of the methodological approach, which is called the Brno Design School, which is based on a systemic approach standing on three key pillars, which are defined in the theoretical conception. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the proposal of a new methodology in the design process, which is presented on a specific example of a CNC machine tool. In the methodology, technical and economic criteria are proposed by means of which the different design options are evaluated. The aim of the methodology is to bring simplicity to the design process, thereby achieving savings in time, financial resources, and competitive advantage.
Bevel gearbox design for heavy industrial applications
Škopec, Filip ; Vlašic, František (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the problem of bevel gearboxes on the Czech and foreign markets, where there is no offer in a wider range of required properties and specifications. The main goal of the thesis was to devise a design solution for a two-stage bevel gearbox for belt conveyor mine operation with parameters: P=37 kW, n=1450 rpm, i=20 and operation in a dusty environment. Based on the analysis of the current state of knowledge, which dealt with the main components of bevel gearboxes, four conceptual solutions were created from the point of view of the arrangement of individual gears. From the individual comparisons of the appropriateness of the use of the given conceptual designs, a design with a modified gear-case was selected, which was processed using design calculations and subsequently checked by strength calculations. The output of this thesis is processed production drawings of shafts, bevel and spur gear and then a drawing of the bevel gearbox assembly. The thesis also includes a written general procedure for the design of bevel gearboxes, which can serve as a guide for readers. The resulting construction design can form the basis for the final product of companies that would deal with a potential order.
Use of plants in historical interiors
Martinek, Jiří ; Krejčiřík, Přemysl
This methodology aims to define, define and characterize in detail a comprehensive set of activities and procedures applicable to work with plants grown in the interiors of buildings with cultural and historical value. The starting point for its creation was an effort to analyze the amount of contemporary materials and information, interpret them, and especially draw attention to this specific segment of human activity, which has not been given due attention in professional circles. Research of the historical context in the field of indoor plant growing is all the more important due to the current requirements of administrators or owners of monument objects to supplement the sightseeing routes with live plants, in an effort to inhabit the historical interior, and thus attract the attention of potential visitors.

Use of flower arrangements in historical interiors
Martinek, Jiří ; Rabušic, Bohuslav
This methodology aims to define and characterize in detail a comprehensive set of activities and procedures leading to the creation and spatial arrangement of installations of cut flowers in the interiors of buildings with cultural and historical value. The starting point in creating this methodology was an effort to analyze the amount of period materials and information, interpret them, but above all to draw attention to this specific segment of human activity taking place during the historical development of human society, which has not been given due attention in professional circles. Research of the historical context in the field of flower arrangements is all the more important and urgent in connection with the current requirements for the implementation of accompanying events created within the sightseeing tours of many monuments, in an effort to attract the attention of potential visitors. The effort to inhabit a certain historical interior with the help of an arrangement of cut flowers, even for a short time, is thus an increasingly common requirement of contemporary practice.

Proces tvorby a distribuce portfolia grafického designéra
Denisova, Alexandra ; Khabirova, Maja (advisor) ; Phung, Hyu Nghia (referee)
The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to show a complete process of creating a graphic design portfolio including a theoretical overview of design and graphic design itself, creativity and design processes. Furthermore implementing obtained knowledges in real life outputs. It also demonstrates the importance of portfolio as a critical element for every designer. The theoretical part is mainly focused on explaining the design process as the most important part of creating any kind of design materials and also general value of portfolio. The practical part is focused on the implementing knowledge of those stages and also trying out tools and techniques which are typically used in the creative process, covering the whole process of making a complete portfolio and its distribution as well.
Model-Driven Development of Software-Intensive Cyber-Physical Systems
Gerostathopoulos, Ilias ; Hnětynka, Petr (advisor) ; Seinturier, Lionel (referee) ; Crnkovic, Ivica (referee)
Software-Intensive Cyber-Physical Systems (siCPS) are modular, open-ended, networked, large-scale embedded Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems that are increasingly depending on software. They need to be both dependable and flexible to adapt to changes in their dynamic environments. This combination poses challenges in their design and development, as traditional model-driven design and development techniques cannot account for both dependability and self-adaptivity. The thesis proposes (1) a new, model-based design process for siCPS, which comprises both appropriate methods and models and deals with dependability and self-adaptivity, and (2) a mapping of the design models to implementation-level abstractions, which allows for model-driven development and early experimentations in siCPS. Specifically, the thesis delivers (1) by introducing and elaborating on the Invariant Refinement Method (IRM), and its extension for self-adaptivity, for the design of siCPS based on the ensemble paradigm. IRM was integrated into the ensemble development life cycle, a methodology for the development of autonomic ensemble-based systems. Contributing to (2), the thesis provides a mapping of the IRM concepts to the concepts of the DEECo components model. The mapping is supported by prototype...
