Solar cells photoluminescence defect detection methods
Vala, Zbyněk ; Veselý, Aleš (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis discusses modern methods for fast defect detection of solar cells. For the means of the defect classification, the technological production process of crystalline silicon solar cells is described. The defects are researched by the electroluminescence and prohtoluminescence methods. The Photoluminiscence method is improved by the posibility of using different wavelenght of excitacion sources. The range of using in industrial production is determined for the discussed methods.
Design of end effector for testing the defects in plastic bottles
Karn, Pavel ; Szabari, Mikuláš (referee) ; Kočiš, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of an end effector for robot that will be able to test the presence of defects in plastic bottles during their handling. The first part of the thesis is devoted to theory and deals with the different types of defects in plastic bottles as well as the currently used technologies for defect detection. The second part is focused on the systematic analysis and design of the variants, from which the most suitable one was selected using multicriteria analysis. The following part deals with the actual design of the selected variant and the necessary engineering calculations. The last part is devoted to the estimation of costing and the creation of manufacturing drawings.
Use of CIVA simulation tool for non-destructive testing of components in nuclear industry
Machovič, Daniel ; Urminský, Ján (referee) ; Vojáčková, Jitka (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to clarify the use of the CIVA computational tool for non-destructive methods of control for components in nuclear power engineering. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the non-destructive methods used for control in the nuclear industry, their definition and the way of use. It also briefly explains the computing tool CIVA and some modules. In the practical part, is thesis focused on the simulation of the measurement using a whirling probe. Next point of thesis is real measurement using a transient whirl probe and subsequent comparison and evaluation of output data with measurement and simulation.
Data Processing from Shock Dyno Damper Measurement
Vaněk, Vojtěch ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
In the first part the bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the damper on theoretical side. In the introduction there is a brief overview of the used dampers, furthermore the characteristic values of the dampers, testing methods, and finally the various negative events and influences during the operation of the damper. In the second part, the bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of a damper, which was tested on damper dynamometer MTS EMA-234 2K in ÚADI workshop. We will attempt to describe the behaviour of the measured damper or anticipate the damper defects due to the findings from the theory described in the first part.
Provedení detailního fytopatologického průzkumu u senescentních dřevin v parku u zámku Buchlovice
Běhávka, Martin
The bachelor's thesis focuses on a detailed phytopathological examination of 70 selected senescent trees located in the park near Buchlovice chateau, which covers an area of 18.4 hectares. The aim of the survey was to describe the diseases and pests occurring on selected tree species and the way in which these tree species are affected. Furthermore, on the basis of this survey, I created a list of measures specifically related to the given tree species in order to ensure the longest and highest quality of plant life. According to the resulting data, it follows that the local woody plants suffer from diseases typical of the species and their age. For example, we can observe relatively gentle treatment in terms of damage to root canals and the overall zone at the base of the trunk.
Integration of laser ablation into the workflows of FIB-SEM systems
Installation of cabling systems in treetops provides additional support for weakened branches or crotches (defective branches) and improves their stability. It is one of the most effective and commonly used procedures to ensure stability of trees. The durability of some materials is limited, therefore it is necessary to inspect and exchange the cabling system when required. Currently, there is no manual or universal procedure for inspections and registration of these systems. The absence of their inspections may potentially be very dangerous. The rupture of these systems in trees that grow in busy public places could have devastating consequences.
Organoleptické defekty vína zpôsobené plesňami
Peško, Jakub
This thesis dealt with the issue of an impact of mildew on wine quality. It clarifies the negative effects of mold which already occur in vineyard on grape bunches and the rest of the vine bush. It also explains that the mold is not getting into the wine only from mold infected grapes but also during the wine making and wine improving in cellar management. The thesis analyzes the characteristics and impacts of mold secondary metabolites and their wine quality affecting changes. It further describes a method of determination of certain substances that affect organoleptic wine characteristics and even threaten a human health.
Characterization of closed mitosis in the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe with perturbed lipid metabolism
Hohoš, Patrik ; Převorovský, Martin (advisor) ; Cebecauer, Marek (referee)
[EN] The division of an eukaryotic cell is mediated by the process of mitosis. It is a complex cellular process which needs to be highly regulated. In contrast to the mammalian open type of mitosis when nuclear envelope is disassembled, fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe undergoes closed mitosis inside the intact nuclear compartment. Cell nucleus undergoes morphological changes as a common sphere-shaped nucleus stretches upon mitotic spindle activity forming typical dumbbell structure. Further tension results in the separation of two daughter nuclei. Such extensive changes in the nuclear envelope surface demand a sufficient supply of membrane phospholipids. Cells with perturbed lipid metabolism are unable to meet such a demand and the mitotic division in these cells usually results as a catastrophic mitotic event or CUT (Cell Untimely Torn) phenotype. Moreover, recent studies show genetic interactions between the deletions of the lipid gene regulator cbf11 and factors maintaining the centromere chromatin structure. Surprisingly, rescue of CUT phenotype has been recently reported after the deletion of several factors contributing to the centromeric H3K9 epigenetic modifications in the cells lacking the transcription factor Cbf11. Here we show no rescue of CUT phenotype after the deletion of...
