Accelerometer-based monitoring of steering wheel angle
Navrátil, Tadeáš ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Mihálik, Ondrej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a device which will be used for measuring the steering wheel angle. Main goal was to design basic concept of device which is using data gathered from three accelerometers in the reconstruction algorithm to get steering wheel angle. Discussion of various reconstruction algorithms (with regards to simulated output noise levels from acceleromater) and final Implementation of reconstruction algorithm (in MATLAB simulink enviroment) is also part of this thesis. Furthermore, thesis deals with the selection of suitable components. Mainly selection of accelerometers, microcontroller and the selection of a suitable communication bus for mutual communication between them. Thesis also deals with design improvements of algorithm and realization of the whole device. In the end, we compare results of measuring device and inner senzor of steering wheel.
Smart Home - project of intelligent house
Kretek, František ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Mišurec, Jiří (advisor)
This masters thesis deals with inteligent home electroinstallation which can distinctly decrease operating costs and make the house management much more easier. In this thesis will be described basic principles of data transfer, topology, instalation options and functions of particular units. Moreover there will be described systems and properities of solutions from the best known producers and suppliers of inteligent electroinstalations. The practical part describes the design house wiring system installation using Ego-n a solution using wireless installation Xcomfort.
Data buses in the automotive industry
Plíšek, Marek ; Míša, Jiří (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The topic of the bachelor thesis is data buses in cars. The aim of the work is to describe data buses and compare their key properties and functional parameters. Sources for bus comparison are drawn from domestic and foreign sources. The work brings a complete comparison of all commonly used data buses: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, MOST, Ethernet. The output of the analysis is a clear table of properties and parameters of buses with a description of their advantages and disadvantages. The work is supplemented by a reflection on the future development of communication systems in cars.

Information Panel for Production Line
PICHL, Jan
This paper describes the development of device that allows the promotion of production efficiency. It displays the number of products manufactured on the manufacturing line and compares this information with the plan of production. Part of this thesis is the production of control board panel, software solutions and putting this device into operation.
