Most of attention has world production of sugar, produ-ction of sugar beet and sugar cane in world and in United States of America, as well as development of prices of sugar plants and international trade of sugar.

This diploma thesis focuses on a sugar beet and a sugar market situation. First part of this thesis shows general overview of the market, ussage of sugar beet, sugar manufacturing, financial support, etc. The analytic part of the thesis is divided into separate parts as global, european and domestic sugar market while the most attention is paid to domestic situation. For the analisys of domestic market was a used basic index and a price transmission of average annual prizes since 2000 to 2016. To achieve the goal was used particular this literature: CSU, MZe, Listy cukrovarnicke a reparske a Potravinarska komora Ceske republiky. The results shows that the situation of sugar beet and sugar market is constantly evolving and is controlled by agrarian policy. Liberalization of the market brings free trade to the european market on the other hand there is high probabillty just for big manufacturers to persist on the market. The small companies will have troubles to succed on the market next to the big companies unless there will be change in sugar beet financial support.
Emigration from the Canary Islands to Cuba, 1860-1914

(in English): The aim of this thesis is to introduce the theme of the Canary emigration to Cuba in the second half of the nineteenth and early twentieth century. For better orientation, the author has chosen time interface between the years 1860-1914. The introduction outlines the sources and secondary literature, from which the author draws and also supposed goal of work. The second chapter is devoted to the Canarian emigration from Columbus's expeditions to the first half of the nineteenth century and its gradual development. The third chapter describes the specific reasons that led to the emigration from the Canary Islands, the attention is focused on the travel conditions of immigrants, employment contracts and promotion. The fourth chapter has been devoted specifically Canarian immigrants and their impact on Cuba, including labor stratification. The fifth chapter focuses on emigration to the turn of the century, there is a special attention is paid to the topic canary societies and associations. The conclusion summarizes the achieved knowledges and changes of this emigration.
Slavery in Works of the 1st Half of the 19th Century Cuban Authors

This thesis consists of an analysis of the works of two Cuban authors of the first half of the 19th Century, Francisco de Arango y Parreño and José Antonio Saco. This paper focuses on their works, mainly on those that discuss the topic of slavery. The first chapter introduces the evolution of slavery and its end throughout the Word and in Cuba, focusing on the development of the Cuban society in the 19th century, in which both of the authors lived and created. The second chapter analyses the works of Francisco de Arango y Parreño, his gradual development of ideas and views on the subject in connection with historical events that influenced his works. The third chapter is comprised of similar analysis of José Antonio Saco's works. The conclusion compares the works of both authors and highlights the points in which their views coincide or diverge. The world sugar market and the position of Thailand in this market

The aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to analyze the world sugar market and the role of Thailand on this market. The first chapter describes the history of sugar, its production, consumption and some factors which influence the production and also the price of sugar on the world sugar market. The important part of the first chapter is the production of bioethanol which influence the production of sugar. The second chapter describes the development of the Thai sugar market, particularly in the last sixty years, its weaknesses and strengths and it also describes the regulation of this market. The last chapter is focused on the potential of the Thai sugar market.
The concept of fair trade - a path to development as well as an area of justified criticism

This thesis deals with the evaluation of the concept of fair trade, specifically its impact on economic, social and environmental spheres of the life of producers and their communities in developing countries. The theoretical part defines the concept of fair trade, presents the historical development of the concept, discusses its main actors, principles and products; finally, it incorporates the issue into the theory of international trade. The main part of the thesis presents selected case studies that examine the impact of the participation in the fair trade system on producers of coffee, cocoa, bananas and sugar cane, and reveal whether fundamental objectives of the movement have been fulfilled in these cases.

The bachelor thesis characterizes class Poales, family Poaceae and genus Saccharum. Next chapters describe history of sugar cane growing, climatic conditions suitable for growing, method of cultivation and harvesting, including the sugar cane processing. Part of work includes data about the world's largest producers of sugar cane and world's producers are characterized. It presents statistical data supplemented by tables and graphs the largest importers and exporters of cane sugar. Next part describes the import of cane sugar to the Czech Republic. The most important exporters are described, who are also producers of sugar cane. The previous part follows the final chapter devoted to socio-ecological aspects of cultivation of sugar cane on the population in the countries, from where cane sugar is most imports to the Czech Republic.
World Sugar Market and the role of the Czech Republic

In my diploma thesis I am analysing world sugar market and the role of the Czech Republic on this market. In the first chapter I am describing sugar as a general commodity, its usage, consumption and production, also the production in important areas. In the second part of the thesis I am writing about the restrictions of the sugar market from European Union, I am describing all reforms and quotas and its influence on all countries. In the third part, the most important one, I am writing about sugar trade on Exchange which instruments are mainly being used, news forms of trading such as Fair Trade. I am also describing factors that influence development of prices. In the last part, also very important one, I am writing about the role of the Czech Republic on the world market and its development throughout the years and about attenuation of the sugar production in our country.
