Children at the Lord's Supper. Theological considerations and current practice in the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren
Bánoci, Martin ; Landová, Tabita (advisor) ; Beneš, Ladislav (referee)
Celebration of the Lord's Supper with children. Theological assumptions and current practice in Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren. Summary This thesis researches the presence and participation of children at the Lord's Supper. The main aim of the thesis was to research whether also today it is possible to find understanding for the reception of children around the Lord's Table in Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren. First of all it was the issue, whether the participation of children at the Lord's Supper is sufficiently accepted in the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren. The first part is focused on the historical and theological background of the Lord's Supper, on the practice in the Old Testament and Apostolic times. This chapter deals with the question: What is the Lord's Supper and what is its meaning? The second part is devoted to the issue of children and their participation in the Lord's Supper. It focuses on the period from the Early Church through the Middle Ages to the Czech and World Reformation. Different views of churches in the Czech Republic are described in the third part of the thesis. I focus here mainly on their current practice. The fourth part together with the annex contains questionnaire survey, statistical and practical data. This chapter contains the hypothesis and their...
The Concept of Confirmation in The Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren
Bubíková, Eliška ; Landová, Tabita (advisor) ; Beneš, Ladislav (referee)
This thesis deals with the concept of confirmation in the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren (ECCB). In order to deepen the understanding of the rite, the thesis discusses its historical developement focusing on the aspect of consignation as part of baptism, on the sacrament of confirmation, and on the further developement of prostestant confirmation. In its main part, the thesis centres on confirmation in the ECCB, in which four concepts, typical for the traditions the ECCB comes from, blend together - i.e. the catechesis, the creed, the admission to the Lord's supper and the epiclesis. Starting from the theoretical point, it discusses the concept of confirmation in the liturgical books of the ECCB and then moves on to the practice of confirmation. Firstly, it studies how the concept of confimation is reflected in the ECCB confirmation materials, i.e. in various protestant cathechisms, and secondly, how the issue is treated by members of the ECCB in their Church periodicals' contributions. It focuses on the large debate in the 1950's as well as on contributions since 2000. Last but not least, the thesis tries to find out if and how the concept of confirmation has changed since the establishment of the church.
Web and Mobile App for Assigning and Confirming Tasks
Jeřábek, Filip ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This work solves managing employees by a dispatcher. The goal is to increase the efficiency of the work of a dispatcher, as well as a single employee's tasks. I focused on assigning tasks, event notification, and tasks state changes and all that in real-time. The solution consists of a website application that is used by a dispatcher and mobile application for employees. Website application is made in the PHP framework Symfony and the mobile app is made in the Flutter framework. The whole idea is to simplify the communication process. The dispatcher is able to check the state of assigned tasks whenever he needs, as well as the employee is notified about the newly assigned task, or changed task state, immediately. The solution significantly simplified the dispatcher's job. The idle times and unnecessary employee journeys were eliminated thanks to the immediate response, which made the whole process more effective. Following these facts, the overall costs should be lowered, and also more work should be made in the same amount of time.
Confirmation of temperature chamber and determination of measurement uncertainty
Beníšek, Ondřej ; Šindelář, Michal (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with the confirmation of temperature chambers, with the greatest emphasis on the determination of standard measurement uncertainty, both by the classical method (GUM) and the Monte Carlo method. It includes the design of a measuring system with data transfer to a computer using the USB communication interface and an analysis of the sources of uncertainty entering the system, which are then practically quantified. To obtain the data, a measuring experiment was carried out in the CVVOZE testing laboratory. The LabView program was used for virtual instrumentation, in which a measuring application was designed and created, which takes care of the collection and processing of measured data. The result of the application is, in addition to recording temperatures from all measured points in the chamber, also the standard uncertainty calculated by the GUM and Monte Carlo methods, including plotting a histogram from the results obtained by both methods in order to compare them. Finally, the achieved results are compared and evaluated.
The Sacrament of Confirmation - the theological understanding in the catechetical materials and regulations of the dioceses (in Slovak Republic and Czech Republic) and its comparison with the theological concept in the magisterial documents from the second Vatican council until now.
Matisovská, Zuzana ; Mohelník, Tomáš (advisor) ; Houkal, Jan (referee)
The thesis "The Sacrament of Confirmation - the theological understanding in the particular documents and regulations of the dioceses (in Slovak Republic and Czech Republic) and its comparison with the theological concept in the universal magisterial documents from the second Vatican council until now" deals with the sacrament of confirmation as the essential part of Christian initiation which constitutes the heart of sacramental organism and shapes being of every Christian. First two chapters analyze presence of the seven aspects of confirmation in universal and particular magisterial documents (history of salvation; sacramental sign; relationship to the rest of initiation, common priesthood and apostolate; effects; recipient and catechesis; minister; ecumenical perspective). Then in the third chapter, the two approaches are compared and critically considered.
Confirmation of the Performance of Thermal Shock Test Chambers
Konupka, Richard ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with problematics of confirmation of temperature shock chamber and methodology for its successful implementation. Theoretical part deals with brief overview of environmental test chambers used for testing temperature and humidity changes on tested samples. Bachelor’s thesis also deals with analysis of methodology for confirmation of temperature chambers according to the technical standard which will be partially used for methodology proposal of temperature shock chamber. Practical part of the thesis is gradually devoted to the measurement procedure proposal, where is discussed chosen temperature sensors and fixture of sensors in the chamber. Also proposed procedure of confirmation is shown, described measurements, calculation procedures, uncertainty estimations and at the end of the thesis are discussed results.
Evaluation of standard uncertainty of Climatic Chamber
Dojava, Václav ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
The thesis deals with the problematics of confirmation of the climatic chamber CTS 65/50, which is a component of CVVOZE testing laboratory. Theoretical part deals with the analysis and description of methods of confirmation of climatic chambers based primarily on technical standards. This part then contains a brief description of a theory of measurement uncertainty. Practical part deals with the design of measurement procedure, which was used for confirmation measurement of ten temperature setpoints. This section then also contains an analysis of the measured data with the evaluation of standard combined uncertainty of temperature measurement. The last part contains an evaluation of the confirmation results, which were the basis for the determination of whether the climatic chamber meets the requirements for the steady-state temperature stability inside the workspace resulting from the standards for the climatic testing
Comparison of selected catechetical aids in connection with the sacrament of Confirmation
Šimůnek, Pavel ; Zimmermannová, Marie (advisor) ; Dřímal, Ludvík (referee)
This thesis "Comparison of selected catechist tools in connection with the sacrament of Confirmation" compares selected catechist books regarding the criteria related to theological, anthropological and catechist themes. The first part presents theological themes - it includes the form and quality of informing about the Holy Spirit and its demonstration in the Old and New Testament, as well as liturgical demonstration of the Church in connection with the Holy Spirit and the dimension of symbols. Further it covers the relation of the Holy Trinity to the sacraments and the close relation of the initiation sacraments with its effect on the receiver. It also deals with the position of catechism in relation to evangelisation and the fact how its structure reflects the catechumen's faith. The second part describes anthropological themes - it focuses on the natural behaviour of the humans, their relation to rituals, on the process of maturing and the importance of a community in the life of a human being from the point of view of faith and religious experience. In the third part we compare the contents and the tasks of the catechisms in the selected catechist tools. Upon an analysis and description of the individual catechist tools, the thesis concludes with an evaluation of the development of the approach towards...
