Management hodnot krajiny a střetů využití území
Machalová, Nicole
The presented thesis on “Landscape Value Management and Conflicts in Land Use” deals with the development of the village of Velké Němčice, including financing options and coordination of conflicts of interest in land use. The main goal of the thesis is to identify deficiencies in the strategic documents of the municipality and analyze the values and problems of the territory from the perspective of various user groups (the author of the thesis, citizens, local organizations, farmers and hunters). Based on the findings, possibilities for further development of the territory are proposed, projected into a municipality management plan that can be directly applied in practice. New proposals are complemented by maps, visualizations and photographs taken during a field survey. Overall, 11 development possibilities were proposed for the town, mainly focusing on the development of blue-green infrastructure, civic amenities, and recreational and sports facilities. The thesis also includes an analysis of the real estate market, which helped determine the real price of building plots and family houses in the town. The thesis provides a comprehensive view of the situation in Velké Němčice and proposes specific options for community development and territorial planning.
Seasonal and long-term dynamic of plankton communities of small water-bodies
Pejsar, Patrik ; Černý, Martin (advisor) ; Juračka, Petr Jan (referee)
Zooplankton pool-inhabiting organisms form metacommunities and metapopulations. Locations are connected through dispersion which is an essential part of colonization-extinction dynamic. Locations vary with the environmental conditions, the specifics of the community and the biotic interactions taking place there. Differences in these parameters may occur between spatially separated pools or in one pool throughout time. These changes are caused by seasonal dynamics, disturbances, long-term development of environmental conditions or biotic factors such as predation, competition and parasite influence. On a long-term scale the locations are classified into rather stable and ephemeral. In pool environment the ephemeral locations may unexpectedly be the driving force of metacommunity and metapopulation processes according to the "inverse mainland-island" theory. Global climate change has an essential influence on zooplankton dynamic in smaller water-bodies. Hydrology of pools and through it also life dynamics of plankton organisms is directly influenced by temperature changes and precipitation. Regional metacommunity and metapopulation dynamics are changing in dependency on regional course of climate change and the specifics of these water-bodies and the communities living there.

It seems that the main sense of existence of volunteer fire departments is not only the protection of people against fires and accidents but also helping communities to maintain their collective social life. By this action are volunteer fire fighters instrumental in keeping cohesion of local citizens and in social capital development.

Chapter two ilustrates how the process of combining art therapy and community work is useful for community development. In the practical part of the bachelor thesis was realized an action research in the community. The aim was to find out whether it is possible to apply the art therapy process within the community work and to artically select selected topics of mutual relations of the community members, the topic of the living space and the topic of the future. We have found that the art therapy process is suitable for working in the community and it is possible to open up the challenging topics with which the community has a problem and their art work can open up space for their reflection or processing.
