Design and implementation of educational CubeSat

This thesis describes the design of a CubeSat with a 1U (10x10x10 cm) size, which will be used in laboratory tasks. It includes mechanical construction printed on a 3D printer with six photovoltaic cells, mounted on the top. Cells will produce electricity to power all systems and to charge the onboard NiMH batteries to make the CubeSat independent of other sources of energy. The proposed design of an electrical power supply system and an onboard computer combined with a communication system is based on off the shelf components. The two-way wireless communication link between computer and a CubeSat is realized thanks to the ground station, which is also part of a design. Students will make other systems, which will communicate with the built in onboard computer via internal RS 485 communication bus. Internal EEPROM memory is used to save measured values. Modularity, possible future expandability, and easy repair in case of any failure were the key optimization parameters of the design.
Company Communication Infrastructure Design

This bachelor's thesis assesses the current state of the communication infrastructure in the company. Based on this assessment, a new communication infrastructure is designed. The new design includes the required elements of the communication infrastructure and their assignment into individual sections of the information and communication systems.
Communication system for the blind - the mobile part

Orientation in big administration buildings can be very difficult for visually impaired people. Although most of the buildings are equipped with elevators, the buttons of which are designated with Braille characters and acoustic signals, it might be very difficult for the visually impaired to actually find the particular office. Even if there were descriptions in Braille at each office door, it would prove very complicating for the visually impaired individual to localize the descriptions in the first place, especially in case of a large number of offices in the building. That may also concern other important places, such as toilets, inside a building. In this thesis, I am going to present a design proposal of a communication system which uses transceivers placed at significant points in a building and receivers placed at the end of the white cane for orientation inside a building.
Proposal to Improve the Effectiveness of Interpersonal Communication in Company

The key objective of this master's thesis is to elucidate processes that increase the effectiveness of interpersonal communication in company Saint-Gobain Weber Terranova, Inc. The paper is divided into two main sections. The first part provides a theoretical summary. Followed second empirical section which is based on research of actual quality of interpersonal communication in company. The results of a questionary research as the main data-collecting tool will make a headstone for a set of proposals which will result in more effective internal communication in the above-mentioned company.

This bachelor’s thesis deals with analyse of interpersonal communitation in company AUTO – BAYER, Ltd. My effort is to apply theoretic knowledge in practice. By the help of this work I would like to write up the status of interpersonal communitation and to project the changes for better and more effectively communitation in above-mentioned company.
Realization of the Car2X and Car2Car communication device

This work explores possibilities of Car2Car and Car2X communication. It contains survey of system properties, types of transmission messages, etc. It represents architecture of the system and deals with technical expectations and limitations of system. In the light of the fact that this work is created in the time, when development of this system hasn’t finished yet, the work doesn’t contain details which would allow deeper technical view about area of vehicular communication. The work also deals with the possibility of realization of device, communicating with a similar standard. Like the most suitable standard was chosen an IEEE 802.11a. Mobile unit has been realized by single board computer Mini 2440 and communication has been realized by WiFi module OWS451i, which works as AT modem. Mini 2440 and infrastructure server are based on Linux operation system.
Spread-spectrum Communication System

The thesis focuses on issues around communication system with the Direct Spread Spectrum Signal Signal. This work outlines the theoretical analysis of this technique and subsequently is created a communication system concept. The device concept is adjusted so that the device can be used as a laboratory device, presenting the spreading technique. This thesis offers a comprehensive and detailed description of the communication system construction, including design of transmitter, receiver and a common transmission channel. In conclusion are stated the results of devised communication system.
Sensory system of mobile robot

This work deals with development and implementation of sensory system of mobile robot. Sensory modules will be connected to the main control unit of the robot. Communication bus should be chosen. This bus must be reliable and extensible. Expected skills: Programming of microcontrollers AVR, desing and production of printed circuit board and knowledge of principles of basic type of sensors.
