Free Trade Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Korea - success or missed opportunity?

This thesis addresses the Free Trade Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Korea, which is the first one of the new generation free trade agreements for EU. First, the issue is explained in the theoretical framework of the theory of international systems and the theory of neoliberal institutionalism, which allows to grasp it adequately in the international political context. Then, the work presents the development of the legislative environment concerning the common trade policy and the transformation of strategic thinking in this area. Further, it defines the scope of economic interactions between the two participants and their common interests leading to the conclusion of the agreement. Subsequently, the thesis analyses the existing contractual relationships of both participants and defines the main aspects of the newly accepted agreement. Lastly, the current effect of the efficiency of the agreement on the trade with goods and services is analysed.
Export promotion policy of the Czech Republic on selected markets

This bachelor thesis is devoted to the topic of export promotion policy of the Czech Republic focusing on Brazilian market. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the success of export promoting policy of the Czech Republic and assessment of Brazil as an opportunity market for czech exporters. The first chapter describes general features of foreign trade and its importance for the czech economy. It deals with foreign-trade policy and its changes after joining the EU. The territorial effects of current Export strategy 2012--2020 and institutional support of export are described in the thesis. The last chapter is engaged in Brazil, especially its economic characteristics, the commodity structure of trade and the Czech-Brazilian trade relations with regard to perspective fields.
The impact of the entry to the EU on the Czech foreign trade policy

The thesis discusses the impact of the entry of the Czech Republic to the EU on its foreign trade policy. Shortly the history of European integration is described as an introduction to the part about the development of European common trade policy. In the second part the foreign trade policy of the Czech Republic before entering the EU is described and in the final part the changes to the external trade policy are analyzed together with the impact on external trade of the Czech republic.

Bachelor thesis Common Trade Policy of European Union with emphasis on relations with The Common Market of the South {--} MERCOSUR is split into six chapters. First three chapters consist of theoretical part that describe function of the World Trade Organization, Common Trade Policy of European Community and contract arrangement with chosen countries or integration arrangements. Center of this work is based on characteristic of origin and evolution of MERCOSUR including description of its institutional structure. Special emphasis is given on analysis of evolution of trade relations between European Union and MERCOSUR and common trade structure. A summary in Spanish and a trilingual glossary are included.

Proces of integration of the Czech Republic in the CTP of the EU

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to explain how the Czech Republic intervenes in order to pilot its interests in formation of the Common Trade Policy of the European Union. In chapters I characterize the Common Trade Policy of the EU, the instruments of the CTP of the EU applied in practise and also union and international legislative framework of the Common Trade Policy of the EU. Part of the thesis is devoted to the most relevant trade treaties of the EU with third countries. Crucial part of the project engage in the strategy of advocacy of the interests of the Czech Republic in the EU and in export policy applied by the Czech Republic. The project presents appraisal of the systems which the Czech Republic uses in order to succeed with its prepositions by the EU.
