Smart Home System
Hájek, Jaroslav ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
This work deals with connecting remote devices measure data of various types from physical quantities such as a temperature, a humidity to data displaying CPU or memory usage of the system to the user. The system uses Blockly to controlling logic and dependencies between devices. In the work is used lots of technologies for examples: MQTT, Websockets, GSM, Lightweight Mesh and others. The system is based on microservice which named is Flask. Flask service is an application interface for HTTP services of Python programming language. This can provide measured data by graphs and predefined components for viewing data. For controlling system was used single-board computer Raspberry Pi with a multitouch 7-inch display.
Smart cottage
Sýkora, Martin ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and implementation of a smart house system. The system is controlled by a logic module SIEMENS LOGO!, which provides object monitoring or continuous temperature measurement. System status is regularly logged. A web user interface has been created to transmit information and control the system by user.
Utilization of Android Wear Platform for Voice-control Services in Smart Home
Frolich, Libor ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the connection of smart homes and voice-controlled assistants. There are described used devices: Huawei Watch 2, Raspberry Pi 3B+, TP Link LB130 smart lightbulb and Intertechno ITR-1500 wireless sockets. Linking has been achieved through the Actions SDK, combined with a smart Google assistant. The problem was implemented by connecting a simulated home and designing a server application. The server was running on the Raspberry Pi computer using the Node.js. At the end of the thesis was solved the problem of processing voice commands and updating of the operating system of smart watches.
Automated Plant Growing
Švancer, Jan ; Široký, Adam (referee) ; Musil, Martin (advisor)
This thesis combines two current trends - the Internet of Things and Urban Agriculture. It describes technologies for wireless sensors communication in smart homes and hardware for their implementation. Based on these technologies smart hardware for automatic plants growing is implemented and connected to cloud with remote access via iOS mobile application.
Application for Smart Meter Data Readout with Subsequent Sending to the Central Database
Navrátil, Tomáš ; Mašek, Pavel (referee) ; Zeman, Kryštof (advisor)
This thesis explores new posibilities of using mobile devices, specificaly cell phones and tablets which support the USB OTG feature, to read data from smart electricity meters. To achieve this goal, an application for OS Android was developed in practical part of this thesis. This mobile application communicates with electricity meters via optical sensor serving as serial line and using the DLMS/COSEM standard. Acquired data are saved to a remote database for further use.
Management of Heating Energy at Home
Dohnal, Stanislav ; Grepl, Jan (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
The aim is to adapt the old heating system so that the new system will meet the needs of users and facilitate control of system. The new heating system can independently control heating automatically. Its important part is remote access to system control. The user always has up-to-date information and can adjust the heating to suit his needs.
Intelligent Household Management
Unzeitig, Patrik ; Široký, Adam (referee) ; Musil, Martin (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to find out how intelligent household management works and then to design and construct system to control home's temperature. This thesis focuses on creation of physical part using Raspberry Pi and on implementation of controlling application, which can be used through touchscreen. Application uses XML file to make data persistent.
Uživatelská rozhraní chytrých domů
FUXA, Jan
The topic of this thesis is usability control of smart homes. The thesis conducted user research for understanding the end-users of smart homes. It is also conducted user testing of today's mobile applications, of smart homes. Gained knowledge from testing are used to create custom user interface prototype mobile application for smart home. Created prototype is conducted user testing.
Application for remote control of devices in smart home
Čislinský, Jan ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Rais, Aziz (referee)
The thesis analyzes current home automation trend with a brief historical context. It presents conception of Apple company and its platform iOS from the beginning of development to actual state. The thesis shortly compares differences between programming language Objective-C and a new language Swift. It describes emerging framework HomeKit which was created to control smart appliances at homes. In practical part of the thesis there is designed mobile application running iOS platform that controls real smart devices at homes with HomeKit framework. Application is created in Swift programming language and is inserted as a component of this thesis.
