Effect of acidic influence on the refractory castable with different cement content.
Mátl, Daniel ; Henek,, Milan (referee) ; Nevřivová, Lenka (advisor)
There are applications of refractory concretes for places where these are exposed to corrosive environments. This diploma thesis deals with both description the corrosive effects and methodology of their testing. One of the most important properties of materials, affecting the chemical corrosion resistance, is their density. The practical part of the thesis is focused on testing the refractory concretes which are currently used for applications. The aggregates were tested for the resistance to sulfuric acid.

Hort, Pavel ; Zuzaňák, Jiří (referee) ; Kubíček, Radek (advisor)
This thesis considers atom`s attributes, which affects shape of molecules. It describes rules that are basic for molecule creation. This text features basic attributes and rules, which affects the final shape of molecule. Next part of this text explains several ways to display molecule. Following parts of this thesis describes several ways how to store and represent atom and molecules in computer technology along with solution of these problems that are used for this thesis.
Development of new educational materials for chemistry education in a form of webpage
Kraus, Jiří ; Šmejkal, Petr (advisor) ; Hájková, Zdeňka (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on design and preparation of a new educational material focused on the theme of chemical bond. The material has been prepared with regard to content and with approaches based on results of analysis of secondary school textbooks and internet sources which deal with chemical bond and current curricular documents valid in the Czech Republic. First part of the thesis deals with specification and determination of necessary terms and arbitrary content of theme of chemical bond based on the content current curricular documents, especially FEP G (Framework educational program for secondary general education), Katalog požadavků ke zkouškám společné části maturitní zkoušky pro rok 2011 a 2012 (Catalog of requirements for the common part of mature examination for yers 2011 and 2012), four selected School educational programs (ŠVP - školní vzdělávací program) and on evaluation and term analysis and didactic content analysis at most common secondary school textbooks and selected internet sources focused on theme of chemical bond. The results of the evaluation and analysis also showed the incompleteness of the analyzed materials with regard to didactic content and/or specialized content. On the basis of results of the analysis and the evaluation, a new educational material in the...
Study text on selected topic of Quantum mechanics course
Kyšková, Jana ; Koupilová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Kapsa, Vojtěch (referee)
The objective of this bachelor thesis is to prepare a study text on selected topics of quantum mechanics, which would be appropriate for the se- cond year students of education of Physics at FMP CU attending the Quantum mechanics course. This thesis consists of two topics - Multiparticle Systems and Chemical Bond. The study text should help students understand the mathema- tical methods used in the field of multiparticle systems, and solve elementary problems. The text also extends secondary-school chemistry knowledge about atom orbitals and chemical bond and provides an explanation of the structure of simple molecules using the valence bond theory. The thesis is based on author's own experience of the Quantum mechanics course, the main sources are the fore- ign textbooks of quantum mechanics and author's own notes from lectures held on FMP CU. 1

"Atoms in molecules" (AIM) analysis of the Pt(II)-complexes
ŠVECOVÁ, Kristýna
AIM (Atoms in molecules) analysis of square planar trans-Pt[(NH3)2T(H2O)]n+ complexes (T = H2O, NH3, NO2-, OH-, F-, Cl-, Br-, SCN-, CN-, PH3, CO, CH3-, H-, C2H4) were performed. Electron density in critical points of the Pt-H2O bond correlates inversely proportionally with the length of this bond and with the occupation of 5d orbitals of the central platinum atom and proportionally with a total charge of the H2O ligand. The Pt-H2O bond can be supposed as a typical donor-acceptor bond. AIM analysis is a very useful method for a quantitative description of the strength of the trans-influence.
