Assessment of impact of production inaccuracies on characteristic of a helical conus-shaped spring in compression
Sitte, David ; Majer, Zdeněk (referee) ; Burša, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the possible influence of production inaccuracies on the characteristics of the helical conus-shaped spring in compression. In the first part of the thesis there is a search for a given problem of the helical conus-shaped spring in compression calculation according to the algorithm created in the bachelor thesis „Určení charakteristiky kónické vinuté tlačné pružiny“ created by Libor Loveček. The remaining part of the thesis focuses on a concrete the helical conus-shaped spring in compression, namely on taking its variable pitch into consideration to achieve a better correspondence of the numerical model to the experimental characteristics.
Influence of changed shape and dimensions of a helical spring on its compression characteristic
Melichar, Marek ; Majer, Zdeněk (referee) ; Burša, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with a change of a shape of a spring in order to facilitate its assembly in a gas boiler controller assembly. The introductory part deals with familiarization with the given issue. Then, based on the algorithm created in the bachelor thesis "Assessment of characteristic of a helical conus-shaped spring under compression" of Libor Loveček, the calculation program is adapted for calculating the existing conical spring and is further modified for other spring shapes. Accuracy of the created algorithms is verified by comparing the results with commercial computing programs. Based on the calculations, new shapes are designed, manufactured and experimentally tested. At the end of the thesis the possibility of usage of created alternative shapes is evaluated.
The use of air springs for race car
Blažek, Jakub ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis studies the use of air springs for race car, precisely Formula Student race car. Research part of the thesis deals with choosing suitable air spring for given application. In practical part, there is computation of parameters for appropriate setting of air spring, so it will comply with the rules of Formula Student. There is also simulation of air spring functionality in real use.
Dynamic Model of Air Suspension System
Janečková, Radka ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis is about creating a dynamic model of pneumatic suspension. At first reader gets to know some general information about pneumatic suspension like: classification of this type of suspension, historical development and how modern air suspension systems work. Next, there is review of some created analytical models of this type of suspension. Last but not least, the new dynamic model of air suspension is created in the software ADAMS/Car. It is tested in different types of analysis, such as quasistatic or dynamic suspension analysis and then the model is implemented in the full vehicle Tatra T158 4x4 and more analysis are made. The new model is then evaluated in terms of pros and cons.
