Design of the robot head for palletising buckets

This diploma thesis deals with the design of a robot head, which is intended for transfering plastic buckets from the belt conveyor to the pallet. The document comprises of the analysis of various solutions, the part with calculations of selected components, the pneumatic circuit design and the proposal for a periodic service system. The first chapter is a brief literature review which deals with the construction of the elevator. The second chapter is drawn capacitance calculation and design of the drive. The bachelor thesis deals with the innovation of the bucket elevator. The thesis is focused on design modification of the elevator in the areas where the transported material is settled. Settled material causes decay and subsequent contamination of the fresh material. Main purpose of this paper is to propose design solution to improve cleaning of the feed boot of the bucket elevator. The next innovation deals with the modification of the marking system and efficient series of the elevators.

This bachelor thesis deals with an engineering design of a centrifugal bucket elevator with transport height 6.5 metres and transport performance 40 000 kilograms per hour. The thesis focuses especially on a functional calculation of the elevator thanks to which a gear motor, band and bucket are chosen. This is followed by an analysis of a constructional solution with a strength check of a drive shaft and parallel keys as well as a calculation of a service life of bearings. Technical documentation according to the task is attached to the thesis.

This bachelor thesis deals with the transport equipment using as the main transport element buckets. To specify this is a device type of elevator, conveyor, digger and excavator, including companies producing these devices. Further work is focused on theoretical and technical approach to calculate where the theoretical part of the thesis deals with the mathematical expression shape layers and logarithmic spiral and in the technical part calculations required to design and determine the parameters of devices. The last section is an overview of transported materials.

This bachelor thesis deals with bucket elevator design for transport of dry, loose and non abrasive materials according to given parameters. In the introductory chapter a short search describes the concept of suggested solution. Functional calculation, designs and checks of individual proposed equipment elements are stated in the other chapters. In the design requirements for centrifugal bucket discharge as well as miscellaneous way of filling are preferred. Appropriate drawing documentation is enclosed with this thesis.

The thesis consists of a description of bucket elevators and their main components, functional calculations and check of the drive shaft. Particular emphasis is placed on the calculation and selection of a gearmotor and subsequent strength check of the drive shaft. The drawing documentation of the entire assembly of the elevator, the elevator head assembly and drive shaft is enclosed with the thesis.

The topic of this bachelor work is to describe the design process bucket elevator. Work is processed as study material for students of bachelor study. The first part is a basic description of the bucket elevator and its types. Furthermore, the description of the basic parts of the bucket elevator. The second part contains equations for bucket elevator design (design drawing element, buckets, engine). Are given two ways to resolve according to [1, 2] and the conclusion of this work is presented a comparative calculation of these solutions.

Other chapters focus on a functional calculation, design and checking the individual components of the device. The requirements for centrifugal emptying of buckets and a mixed filling of buckets are taken into account in the design. A drawing documentation is enclosed with the thesis.
