The Financial Analysis of T-Mobile Czech Republic, Inc.

The bachelor's thesis named "The Financial Analysis of T-Mobile Czech Republic, Inc." is divided into two main parts. The first one contains a methodology and approaches of the financial analysis and these are applied in the second part. There are also computed and commented particular indicators of the analyzed company in years 2007 to 2010 in the second part. Numerical results are presented in charts and tables. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the results of the financial analysis performed on the given company.

Financial analysis of a company Severočeská energetika, a.s.

The aim of the thesis is to generally approach the financial analysis with focus on the models of summary assessment of a company (i.e. bankruptcy models and creditworthy models). In the practical part the financial analysis of the company Severočeská energetika, a.s., was performed for the period 2001 - 2006 by means of horizontal and vertical analysis of accounting statements, by means of ratio indicators and bankruptcy and creditworthy models including comparison of the results of the individual methods used.

Prediction of financial situation in the company TOS Varnsdorf, a.s.

The main objective of this Bachelor's Thesis is to evaluate the current financial situation of the company TOS Varnsdorf, a.s. and the prediction of further development of the company by using outcomes from financial analysis and evaluation of creditworthy and bankruptcy models, including one rating model. The methodological section provides a theoretical definition of the methods of financial analysis and creditworthy and bankruptcy models. The practical part includes a basic description of the company and application of selected indicators of financial analysis (profitability ratios, liquidity ratios, activity ratios and debt ratios, labour productivity ratios, economic value added), selected eight creditworthy and bankruptcy models and a rating model. The final section provides an ex post evaluation of financial situation in the company and financial situation predictions based on the results of the models.

Financial analysis of EUREST Slovakia Company

This diploma thesis deals with financial analysis of EUREST Company which provides contract catering in Slovakia. The goal of this thesis is to consider the financial situation and financial health of this company. This goal is reached by financial statements analysis, common indexes, using models for predicting bankruptcy or rating financial health, and by comparison with a company providing the same type of services in Czech market.

The goal of this Master's Thesis is estimation of financial situation of company R. JELÍNEK a.s. At the start of the thesis there is theoretical part describing methods of financial analysis, ratio analysis and bankruptcy and credibility models. In practical part there is performed financial analysis of financial statements of the company for last eight years. First, there is conducted horizontal and vertical analysis, then ratio analysis and bankruptcy and credibility models. In conclusion part there is estimation of the company on basis of conducted analyses and comparison of results of classical financial analysis with results of bankruptcy and credibility models.

Predpoveď finančnej tiesne podniku prostredníctvom metód finančnej

This bachelor thesis investigates the possibilities of predicting financial problems of an enterprise called Odevní podnik a.s. using methods of financial analysis. The main goal is to determine whether it was possible to predict the financial problems of this enterprise, how long it could have taken and what could have possibly confused the financial analysis. The work contains with the horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and profit orientation clarifying the statemens , also continues to analyze the comparison of current values within the industry and concludes in credit score models along with the bankruptcy models. The findings gained from the financial analysis of the enterprise, the explanation of the complex relations and the evaluation of the success are summarized at the end.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze recent years of declining Oděvní podnik a.s. Based on the financial analysis, I would like to know where were the main reasons that caused the bankruptcy of the company. To see how the company performed from an operational perspective, I compare its performance with a competing firm Blazek s.r.o. I apply solvent and bankruptcy models, at the monitored company, on which bases I shall consider whether the situation was coming predictable.

Evaluation of PRO.MED.CS Praha, a.s. and Pliva Lachema, a.s. by solvency and bankruptcy models

This thesis deals with the explanatory power of solvency and bankruptcy models designed to determine the financial health of selected companies with their predictions for future development for several years ahead. Pliva Lachema, a.s., which went into liquidation in 2010, was chosen as a representative of a bankrupting business. A prosperous company is represented by PRO.MED.CS Praha a.s. Both are pharmaceutical companies focusing on manufacturing drugs and developing new medicines. The theoretical part deals with different ratios and predictive models, including their structure and methods of their evaluation. The practical part describes results of the indicators of financial ratio analysis and prediction models for the above-mentioned companies for the years 2004-2008. The aim of this study is to determine if chosen solvency and bankruptcy models have a good explanatory power on the current status of both companies and if bankruptcy models are able to predict the impending bankruptcy of the company Pliva Lachema, a.s.

Predictions of financial decline of a company through tools of financial analysis

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to test if the tools of financial analysis can be used to forecast bankruptcy of a firm. I selected firm Oděvní podnik a.s. to test the tools of financial analysis and also selected prediction models in time horizon of six years prior to beginning of insolvent process. I start with defining the concepts, indicators and models which I use in the second part to analyses the firm and I conclude with a complex summary of the results.
