The subject of the Bachelor´s thesis is the proposal of a new construction polyfunctional house in Brno, located on a plot of land in the city of Brno Střed, Pisárky in the Hlinka street. This is an undeveloped clearance surrounded by neighbour buildings from Eastern and Western sides. The land is currently used as a private car park. The aim of my work is the creation of architectural an urban design, which complements the surrounding buildings. The project solves object that has a single underground floor and five more floors. On the firs floor are located the spaces intended for hire (shops), in the second and third floor areas for administration and fourth and fifth are for housing. Thanks to the utilization of sloping terrain it was also possible to create an object in the underground parking is specified for the users of the object.. To comply with appropriate look of the object and its appropriate integration to the street was important "face game"object. For the purpose of compliance with the consistency and compliance with high altitude were designed French Windows. Grid doors and Windows created a specific order and rhytm. To increase the aesthetic and the smooth expression helps beveled prefabricated panels which is an evidence of diverse traffic operation inside of the proposed building.

Juchelka, Tomáš ; Ležatka,, Lukáš (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is based on my architectonic study written during the third year of studying. The theme is the project related to the town house Minska in Brno which will be situated in the current blank space in the street Minska which is located in the town district Brno Žabovřesky. In the thesis this project is subsequently developed into higher levels in terms of project documentation. The main idea is the draft of dominant but at the same time undemanding objects in terms of material and operation which bring the order into the particular area. Currently there are simple family houses and four and five-storey buildings in particular. In their ground floors there are services, shops and things like that. The estate which is the basis of my project is situated in the blank space between two buildings and is very narrow, deep and oriented on north and south by its shorter sides. The draft of the building elaborated by myself is divided into two parts – SO1 and SO2 which are interconnected with smaller garden. First of them – SO1 is a part of built-up area related to the street Minska and is constituted by the basic cubic substance characteristic of five above-ground and one underground storeys. There are four residential units, non-residential commercial space and technical facilities. The second part SO2 is situated on the second side of the estate on its edge next to the street called Kubanska made of the same cubic substance and is divided into two higher four and five-storey parts and one lower single-storey part in the middle. There are six residential units, three non-residential ones, technical facilities and underground parking place. There are ten residential units and four separate commercial spaces designed in my project. In terms of construction both parts are arranged as longitudinal wall system made of reinforced concrete which is stiffened by means of core and monolithic ceiling of reinforced concrete.

Mačková, Klára ; Wahla, Ivan (referee) ; Hora, Jan (advisor)
331/5000 The project deals with housing and family living in a small town such as Mikulov. My goal is to find the positive of both possibilities. At the same time, I ask myself about the use of traditional motifs and the principles of housing, such as the yard, the fireplace or the passage between the houses and using new current means, I try to rewrite them into the current way of living.
Gap options (třída Kapitána Jaroše, Brno, CZ)
Kopečková, Barbora ; Haasová, Lenka (referee) ; Toman, Radek (advisor)
The aim of the final bachelor thesis is to create a home for the elderly near the centre of Brno, on Kapitán Jaroš Avenue. This project focuses on the creation of a community space that will enable seniors to live an active and independent life close to the city centre and all available amenities. It will also allow them to participate in cultural and social events in the area, which will be literally at their fingertips. The architecture of the project focuses on creating a friendly and barrier-free environment that allows easy orientation and movement of seniors. The house has common spaces such as a community kitchen, library, communal dining room, TV corner and games room, these spaces encourage communication and shared activities between the residents. An integral part of the project are the residence terraces across the whole building, created when the mass was removed to solve the complicated situation of the north-facing plot. Furthermore, the entire house is connected to a large wooden ramp through the entire courtyard, which allows the residents of the home to walk safely into town or the park, or just take a pleasant stroll and meet various people from the neighbourhood. The concept of the ramp is therefore a kind of garden for the elderly, while at the same time solving the chaotic traffic situation at this location.Overall, the architectural project is designed to allow the seniors to live in a comfortable and friendly environment while experiencing new adventures in the urban environment. This should lead to a better sense of belonging and enjoyment of life, while contributing to the development of the city and the inner city itself.
